I agree. I was in Nice last March. Meryl and Charly were technically superb in the FD, much less in the short dance. Tessa and Scott were unmatched in the short dance in technique but above all in the interpretation. Sometimes Tessa and Scott are "less perfect" than usual, but the atmosphere they are able to create is unique. There is no competition with anyone. It is that something more that you can not learn even with years of training: either you have or not have it.
The Flamenco of 2010 is emblematic of what I think. It is important for both pairs compete with opponents so magnificent. It is an incentive to do better.I am neither American nor Canadian so I think I'm over the parts
Charlie could use less smile? Someone actually said that? No, Charlie needs to smile as often as possible. In fact, I'd forgive him if he smiled while skating a Requiem, that's how engaging I think it is.
Wow you have the nerve to talk about Meryl and Charlie's twizzles.... Look at Tessa and Scott's twizzles.....Tessa botches them up regularly.....ugghhh
Lol I love how everyone jumps straight to Tessa and Scott when no one's mentioned them 😂 Charlie had big issues with his twizzles, very wild, not nice to watch, has nothing to do with Virtue and Moir and would be true regardless of who they were up against.

Meryl and Charlie skated a beautiful program as always. They just got better and better culminating with their Olympic gold medal in Sochi.
