I love this combo. Minds desire would make my brain implode in paper. But mindbreak trap is good secondary teferi. If an opponent casts an instant and gets value off eye, mindbreak trap any spells on the stack. You kinda have to get priority with whatever spell you cast in reaponse to theirs, so you can exile any spells on the stack from eye of the storm

wow, in all my years of playing i never fugurered out how to use this card, it was a real head scratcher, this video explains it in a way i understand it. thank you, lol, my one question tho. Storm is in play and you play a Opt, Does Opt get played before it sucked up by the storm or does the Storm eat it before it goes off? thats the one thing about the Storm that is unclear to me.
Glad I could help, the opt would get eaten and not resolve, but if the spell had any effects that happened on cast, they would still trigger.
@@KingofJank ah so dont put Pact of the Titans into the storm. Unless you have the mana to pay for the 4/4 token

The copies should be countered after you flip Erayo. and they can only cast one spell a turn which it feeds the storm. Lol

@@DracosDiabolis I think this does work if I understand correctly, because on Eye of the Storm it specifically says "may cast the copies without paying their mana cost"

I don't know what will happen but it will be bonkers.
The best thing about the mind's desire combo is that it isn't automatically infinite. You could always theoretically end up in a situation where you can completely fizzle out by top decking a bunch of lands in the beginning of the chain, so games get incredibly tense since you usually don't have that much mana left by the time you finally get to pull it off. You either win right there or you die. Either way shit goes down.

I use this combo in my Azami deck to first play out my deck with Aetherflux Reservoir on the field. I then use Game Plan to shuffle everyone's hands and graveyards into their deck and draw a new seven (which for me would almost certainly contain counterspells considering I'd been using them all game). After that, I strike a deal with my opponents to let them use the combo to play out their entire deck. If everyone agrees, I then bounce Eye of the Storm and Aetherflux on my next turn once everyone else is done setting up their boards. After which, we commence Ragnarok.
I lived the dream only once with this card :( And it was not even a "combo", it was value XD
Still have to find a reliable way to make this survive one full turn.

So let's say if I exiled a Discontinuity under Eye of the Storm, and on my opponent's turn, they cast a spell which triggers Eye of the Storm. Do I get to order how Discontinuity resolves on the stack?
No, if they cast a spell, they control the copies and decide the order of them. But if YOU cast a spell on their turn, you can end their turn with your copy of Discontinuity.
