There's absolutely nothing wrong with letting other adults discipline your kids. Obviously nobody should be allowed to abuse a child but discipline doesn't necessarily mean corporal punishment. I got onto a group of dumb kids the other day and took their lighter from them. I technically disciplined them and I have no clue who their parents even are. When my mom started dating the man who adopted me. He was aloud to take something if my sister and I were fighting *it would be like mma between her & I at times* but he wasn't allowed to spank us. That was mamas job. If we didn't stop after him taking something away he was allowed to make us sit in a chair and hold hands. That was his punishment that he was allowed to give. And he always got my mothers approval. Even after they married he's never had to do more then take something away. Now my brother, who's his, he's spanked him once, in a Walmart lol. He gave his verbal warning and when he talked back and kept acting up he stopped my brother in his tracks and spanked him once. My brother is a good kid in Walmart.

As the mother you tell your child "No son he's not your dad." I don't feel for one moment that she was doing that to benefit her child. She allowed it to happen, and maybe even pushed it to make her loser bf happy.

He thought he had my son and he had me. My ex bf damaged my back. My son was 16 back then. I always told him if my son does something wrong and I am not home send him to his room or outside to his friends house down the street and I would deal with my son when I would get home. I spent 4 months in physical therapy.I kicked the ex out so fast and sent him packing to the homeless shelter. My high school sweet heart got word of what happened and made sure the ex left us alone. PSA: hitting your kids is literally like the least effective form of discipline. Do not hit your kids, do not even spank them lightly. Kids who are hit tend to hit others as they grow up, which gets them into trouble and reinforces that "violence is an okay way to express dissatisfaction/anger/sadness" . Praising your kids for good behavior encourages positive behavior because SURPRISE!! Kids like being praised!! They don't understand pain. DO NOT HIT YOUR KIDS. Don't let anyone hit your kids!! It's 2020, we're better than this, people 🙄🙄🙄

That said, I didn't start calling him Daddy instead of by his name until I was 12. Also, in _all_ the years he lived there & helped raise me he _never even once_ raised a hand to me - my mother would have *murdered* him. He was allowed to ground me, take away privileges, but it was made _abundantly_ clear that if he ever hit me, done-zo, finito, the end.

I've been with my man 4 years and I wouldn't even let him correct my dog aggressively how you letting a man you've known less than a year punish your kid?

I don’t care who you are, if you’re not my sons father, you may not discipline my son. If you are not their parent, do not discipline.

And that my friend is why you don't let someone you know for only 8 months near your children

I don’t hit my children EVER. What kind of mother would let some strange man discipline her son? A BAD MOM!!! This woman will be back with him in a week Update please upon rewatching, she’ll be back in two days. It won’t even take a week. When she described how “ wonderful “ he is that was the tip-off .CPS should be involved, and a safety plan with NO corporal punishment should be put in place.

From the moment she said she allowed him to discipline her son, I knew he beat that little boy. Hell she said it herself

He has absolutely no right to touch her children! They are not your kids
You have known each other for 9 months !! You don't know him !!! Why would you trust him around your children???
The abuser will always go to the wife or girlfriend and try to manipulate them into thinking it's not true but it is true !!
