For those wondering what happened after the show and arrest: Samantha and her ex were both found guilty of their crimes. Samantha was sentenced to 12 to 25 years for involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and all the other charges Steve listed in the update. As for her ex, he was found guilty of third-degree murder, and was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison. Arabella may be gone, and some of the scars probably haven’t healed completely, but at least justice was served for those responsible, and I hope that the family finds peace with the verdicts. Deepest condolences to the family of Arabella, and I hope they are doing ok now that justice is served!

Justice is on the way. Both this "mother" and her boyfriend are in jail awaiting trial, they are facing possible life sentences, and the abuser's mother was sentenced to 17 years in prison for giving false information to police that could have saved their daughter.

Update: According to one of these replies, yesterday (5-11-22) she was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children and is facing 63 years in prison. Her boyfriend was sentenced to 24-50 years in prison (less than her, interesting enough). Steve should do an update on this horrid couple.

Update: Her trial ended and she's I believe facing 63 or 67 years now after being found guilty for 3 separate felonies that go for 20 years as well as a misdemeanor :)))) Just happened yesterday on the 11th.

She may be alive to see her release, but even then she won't have much of a life left to live. Appropriate, considering her daughter didn't have much of a life to live.

NORMAL WOMEN have an instinctive urge to protect their baby, and will put their lives on the line to do so. Now if you’re a single woman and stay with your abuser, I cannot blame you. You can also have the ashes mixed with tattoo ink and memorialized on you forever, jewelry can be made out of it, people have even had portraits made with the ashes mixed into the paint. It's a better thing environmentally too.

Bio dad only showed up once it was a top story.:: he just wanted to be in the show like he cared.. he never showed her a speck of love and that’s sad too because a real father could have rescued the poor girl. It’s so sad all around so many people failed her. The grandmother I really feel bad for her she did what she could and reported the abuse... cps is so over worked :( she then went to the home and tried to take the kid but the cops said she had no right to do it so what else can you do. The cops say make a report and go home. People bash her but she did everything she could: she wasn’t in the house she just seen bruises and had no idea the extent of the abuse until it was too late but even if she did they still will say make a report that’s it.

They, unlike this idiot, did NOT put themselves in harm's way, voluntarily, they were drafted, placed in a trench much against their will. IF one of them ran away from the front lines, with the excuse ' But you don't understand, the enemy was SHOOTING at me and I was terrified...' that buggering yellow coward would have been shot in the back. And rightly so, cowardice is disloyalty to the maximum degree. This woman, much like a soldier, did NOT have 'I won't do anything to help my cause' as an option. If she would have died EITHER WAY, then her obligation was to die helping her child, NOT sacrificing her child to a vile and violent lunatic. Cowardice is disloyalty to the maximum degree, and not saving your child's life, or attempting to do so, is unspeakable.
Taylor Renee she had several opportunities to do something though to prevent further abuse to her daughter. She chose to be with an evil monster rather than the safety and love for her daughter. She is just as bad as him.

Exactly, she went to a party, her sister house. Case workers came to her home and she did and said nothing. There needs to be an investigation with the Children and youth department because they also failed that child.
It was so sad when I seen that show I cried how can a mother let that happen to her child and alot of people said the whole family knew about it and did nothing to help the child even at the party when the grandmother seen Mark's on her granddaughter and ask what happen she said mommy did it and they did nothing and the baby's mother never went to the hosptail for Mark's she said she got from her boyfriend she was not afraid of him alot of people knew she was not a good mother and the aunt should have not gotten custody of the little girl she knew she was getting beat people say and did nothing but then go for custody of her so the mother could see her when she got out people say the whole family was the blame so said the mother should rot in jail too like her boyfriend
She didn't do anything to protect her daughter, I suffered child abuse from my father when my mom found out she went straight to law enforcement. This woman had repeated chances to at least save her daughter but she chose to be a coward rather than a mother

If they take her off life support, Sam could be in prison for the rest of her life and well deserved.

Theres been more arrests related to lil Precious Arabella....Bonnies husband got arrested for punching Bonnie AFTER this episode aired
He was arrested back in September when bonnie says she tried to get custody, when he was arrested in September it was for hitting a school bus head-on in front of an elementary school & when cops came to the scene to investigate they found heroin & syringes in his vehicle. Why would bonnie have been given custody? This Precious lil Angel NEVER had a chance from the start.

However, when you fail to protect your babies I’m out. She could have given that child to her mother. She didn’t. She did nothing when he torture and beat her child. MAYBE the first time she was too afraid to help her daughter but he has to sleep sometime. It would have been a long long nap for him if that were my baby. As far as I’m concerned she is right where she needs to be. Any woman or man who let their partners abuse their children are the lowest of the low. She can rot.

This story is crazy because that’s what went down for my people. My birth mom was 16-21 and my birth dad was a lot older. He would beat and torture us when we were little and I have scars from it. She didn’t do anything to stop him and when he broke my brothers arm, there was an investigation, and they both lied to the police about what happened. He went to prison and they both lost custody of us. My brothers and I all got adopted and when my sister was born, she was taken right away. I didn’t see my mom again until right before Covid when I was 17. She’s in her 30’s and is really sweet. I just wish she would’ve protected us in the first place.

You see I studied martial arts from the age of 6, I also taught my daughters from the same age, I also told them to never let a man disrespect or abuse up.
