Definitely anybody by their 20's should know not to touch children. But in your 20s you are still a kid, with a lifespan of 70-80 years and maybe more, being in your 20s is a fraction of that and everybody there is still maturing everyday.
Jason Melvin I am in my early 30s and didn’t consider myself a kid a few years ago, especially having been a wife and having a career. I think people only have this view of 20 somethings being children if they could be their parent. And as for me being a nurse, it’s very rare for someone to live in their 90s or 100s like you mentioned. A 20 something year old would be blessed to have that very long life span. Any of us would be!

My mom did that to me. Her husband got me hooked on percocet and put a needle in my arm when I was 18, he was a pervert start to finish. He admitted all this to my mom, she decided to stay with him and mostly shut me out. It's disgraceful when a woman chooses d*** over their kids
Edit: thanks for the likes and support, I had 6 months clean on the 21st of may. After he introduced he to opiates I couldn't stop. I was an 18 year old heroin addict cast out with no support and shunned. I've been through some horrible things that go along with a life of addiction. At the end of last year I decided to go for long term. That plus methadone saved my life.

Judges do have the right to reject plea deals.
@8balln8 killingu65 Typically if the defendant is rude, uncooperative, wastes the court's time, or seems to show no remorse for what he/she is pleading guilty to, the judge can decide to reject the plea deal and go to trial.

When Steve asks her how old the guy was when he committed the crime, he corrected himself and said "supposedly committed the crime." The mom answered the question without correcting the statement. After that, Steve didn't say "allegedly" or "supposedly" he just talked about it in terms that he did it and the mom never corrected him.
I think that's telling. She knows he did it, even if she doesn't realize it, part of her knew he was guilty.
