TVM top tip… Buy games for one system…then change your mind about that system…choose another system…change your mind again…go back to the original system…so on and so forth IF YOU WILL!!
My collection habits were very similar to yours to begin with, buying every retro & modern console I could afford and spending all my weekends visiting charity shops, car boots etc looking for games to add to the collection but with no real desire to play 95% of those titles but instead just have them sat looking at me on a shelf collecting dust, all because of my own FOMO from watching other TH-camrs/influencers source the same games on their channels and my own silly mind telling me "if they have that game, then I MUST have it too". Thankfully I have started to really cut back on what I collect for now, again similarly to yourself, by selling off/trading in a lot of consoles/games and focused in on more modern gaming (Xbox 360/PS3 onwards). My advice to new collectors... don't be swayed by others. Everyone's collection should be unique 😊
Always nice to see your name on screen 😌 Really enjoyed that mate, enjoyed the random game facts, was refreshing from your usual stuff, I'd love to see more stuff from you like this...oh and I was an 80s kid, of course I used to blow on cartridges and still do out of i guess habit and nostalgia, I know it's bad to do as any moisture when you blow can cause the connectors to rust but i just can't help it 😂
with collecting point of view when i was new and can say im still some what new to collecting as looking through with rose tinted classes i would say go to conventions if you can then you can try out different systems as it would make you break out of the systems that you know you are not gonna play compared to are gonna play. Also from Cayle videos is write down a list of games that you want to grab as not everyone have a ton of room to store consoles and games
80s kid here. Heavily influenced by 90s gaming. Of course I blew into my cartridges and of course I still do 😅 absolute poppycock that it doesn't do anything. Works a charm 😂 Also, all my 30 year old cartridges still work, so I refuse to believe it's not good for them. Just make sure you don't spit in it and you're all good 🤪 Oh, odd thing happened to me the other day...bought a potato from the shops...got home, peeled it and under the skin it said "this is an Xbox" 😂
I think the basis for the advice is that when blowing a small amount of Moisture (not large amounts of spit) can get blown up into the cart which can eventually corrode stuff. You may not think there is much moisture on your breath as you can see it. But the next time it’s cold outside check how much moisture you can see in your breath then.
The cartridge thing isn't exactly true (seating issue). If you get dirt and grime on the pins then it won't work. Using nail polish remover on a que tip/ear bud on the pins of a dirty cartridge will work most times in sorting the game from working. It only needs doing 1 time (well 1 time per many years).
I was collecting ps4 and ps5 games but I’ve noticed Xbox games are really cheap compared to ps so got rid of basically all PlayStation games (except from steelbooks) and now I’m collecting for Xbox only time I’ll collect ps is an exclusive I want or steelbook

TVM wants a vault full of spent CEX credit to be nostalgic about
TVM was the cosmonaut playing Tetris in space in exchange for CEX credit.
Enjoyed this. Nice bit of casual viewing while eating my lunch. Definitely continue. 😊👍🏼
do a video of you eating your lunch. Lets see how far we can get this chain goin
@ haha 🤣
Gaming Myth? EAFC is fun.

Set a goal mine is the full pal 360 set but focus on the ones you want to play first. Simple as that
The handheld isn't a rumour they literally confirmed they are working on one but could be a few years away.

TVM Top Tip: Start a new series and get bored of doing it within a month and then start another 😂😂
I think its more lack of views than being bored
@@PiggyGuru123 the lack of views is due to his flip flop content… he has the subs. It’s the content that’s lacking.
@@markperkins2656 he's never had big views though most videos do under 10k its very rare he gets a big one. The algorithm has alot to say

Agree with all this! Apart from the potat incident, as I wasn't there.

Space Invaders on my ZX Spectrum 128k+2 when I was 6!
TVM puts discs in consoles for CEX credit
If a disc based game is on gamepass you can play it without the disc

My tip would be to store your Game discs close to the console.
I think games like Diablo and dragon age type games be good on phone but a lot of games wouldn’t do well of a handheld
I tried to do the coffee mod for San Andreas back in the day but couldn't get it to work
Most famous cheat code I think is Sonic the Hedgehog level select
Up,down,left,right,Ahold,START!
Sonic 2... 19,65,9,17 on sound test.

That is seriously lazy lol.
@gameshack1985 it's not it's just annoying put a different disk in every 5 minutes
@@DummyDum-et1tmwho plays a game for just 5 minutes 🤨
@@DummyDum-et1tm Oh, I guess it would be if you only play a game for 5 minutes at a time....
