What I love about you, Spawn, is you don't bring any ego to your videos. It's such easy watching. If I can ever get that kind of style in my content, I would be really happy! Good job as ever.
That s definitely true. Spawn doesnt have the attitude many youtube gamers have in which they try to convey to us that they liked games before gaming was cool. I dont know how to explain it but its like alot of them are telling us "I told you so". Keep up the great videos and attitude Spawn.
Try playing Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade at the same time. I keep forgetting I can't climb or jump off tall cliffs in Xenoblade. One time I jumped to my death and I was like "Oh yeah..."
Besides being able to climb everything in botw. I felt like botw’s movement was way more fluid than xenoblades 2. Xenoblades 2 while being a good game, feels a little clunky. The characters also feel a bit floaty. Am I the only one who feels this way? I still enjoy the game though.
Maybe it's because I'm quite used to playing JRPGs, so the movement doesn't bother me as much since it's been like that for quite a long time in this particular genre. JRPGs tends to lean more heavily on stories, how to build up your party members and the overall battle system, so unless it's an action RPG such as the TO series, the movement won't be as fluent as action games such as BotW or the upcoming Bayonetta. Still I do wish developers in Japan can do better on that part too, since it really isn't a excuse to say "Hey, everyone in the industry does that, why can't we also be like that?"
It’s incredible how far you’ve come in your fitness journey. Just wanted to acknowledge that! It is very inspiring to watch unfold basically in real time with the amount of work you put into your channel on a daily basis. Keep up the great work 🫡
This was my favorite game in 2017. In fact it is one of my favorite games ever. I just finished the last boss and now I'm doing end-game content. 140 hours and counting. A must-buy for any mmo/jrpg fan.
I love this game so far as well. I have X on wiiu and the first on new3ds but I would love for this to do well enough for them to port those 2 to switch. It would be so awesome to play X on switch!... But yeah xenoblade chronicles 2 is amazing so far. I am in chapter 3. Trying to do all side quests I can too.
XC2 has sold 1 million copies in it's first month. So yeah it's selling really well for this series. XCX sold just shy of 1 million copies in its entire lifetime. Granted that's cause it was on the WiiU. Also, the devs has expressed their interests in porting XCX to the Switch though nothing confirmed as of yet.
@@axionlightedge6108 "There aren't many good switch games." Mario Odyssey BotW Doom Dark Souls Celeste Skyrim Cuphead Hollow Kight I could go on on how wrong you are.
That's more than XCX sold. XCX sold around 950K just shy of a million copies in it's entire lifetime. Granted that's cause it was on the Switch. So XC2 selling 1 million copies in 1 month is complete success. It'll continue to sell going forward.
I love the Counter Attack song, main theme, and world tree version of the main theme. Errything else I never noticed. Except indol. That was annoying as hell
Man, you lost so much weight; props and respect to you man, I'm proud of you! This is phenomenal. You look fantastic nowadays, you still looked great back then though haha :)
Yeah, actually an incredible transformation! He looks a lot more healthy. Not that he looks bad here, but it's not even comparable to his actual state!
The memory leaks were apparently patched at v1.1 - got this game for xmas and never encountered these extreme performance drops shown in the df-video. Not holding my breath for further perfomance boosts though. But their latest voiceclip fix needs to be fixed properly.
+Wheeljack2k The memory leaks are related to the Switch not being shut down properly and regularly. If you completely shut down your Switch after each session, you won't encounter these issues. Standby mode doesn't cut it.
For a game made almost by only 40 people...its more than impressive. (the rest of the team was occupied with a little thing called "Breath of the Wild", just saying)
@@BlazingBoltAeris botw my favorite cuz i was never a fan of 3d zelda. I heard it described as "a good game as long as you are not looking for a zelda game." and I agree
Loved this game. Still debating on its ranking amongst xenoblade games for me. But all i know is i had an absolute blast. And the story wraps up so damn well. Addictive battle system too
I've played all 3 and I personally think XC2 is the best. The story for me personally is the best out of the 3 and the battle system is perfected out of all 3. I really enjoyed XC1 & XCX but XC2 is my favorite. Though the music from XC1 is my favorite of all 3.
banks i agree man. Xenoblade x i think clearly had more ambition and systems put into the game. This one seemed to play it a bit safe. However the story was phenomenal. But xenoblade chronicles the original on wii is in my top 3 rpgs of all time... so im still not set on placement yet lol
Story wraps up well? As in spits in your face and calls you an idiot who can't handle an actually significant character death so it reverses what just happened less than five minutes ago? This game is amazing in so many ways, but the story was written by a 13 year old. It's absolutely awful.
BROTHER!! YOUR WEIGHT LOSS WAS AMAZING! KEEP IT UP BRO. GOT THIS GAME TODAY AND I COULDNT BELIEVE THIS WAS YOU WAY BACK 3yrs AGO. Nice!! Still!! USE THE FREEZA SHIRT. WE LUV DAT.
The point of the Merc Missions is the rewards. The rewards can be contracts which bring more items to specific shops. If you buy at least 1 of each item a shop sells, you get to buy the deed to the shop and get things like permanent %5 Movement Speed Up or +%10 Luck
Easily my favourite game well over 300 hours at this stage have finished it twice 2nd play I eventually got all rare Blades now waiting for more of the DLC. Point on the navigation. Use the Minimap and the navigation bar together. The navigation bar gives you distance to a point of interest as well as direction and elevation. Once you sort that out navigation is super easy.
thank you so much for the review & for the legit feedback on the game. I was hesitant at first but I ended up adding xenoblade chronicles 2 to my wishlist now 😊
Path finding is an algorithm used in games to know what path to use to move AI controlled characters from point A to point B avoiding terrain obstacles, which in this game is fine. I think it's more precise to say that the problem you mentioned is that the map lacks the detail for underground tunnels in some areas.
I ended up putting 480 hours into this game, so yeah weather you just go through the main story or do all the side content and DLC stuff (and game) I can warmly recommend this game. I also actually think this Xenoblade have one of the best battle systems in the entire series.
The first Xenoblade is my favorite Wii game and compared to Xenoblade 2, the battle system has really improved and has become easier to manage. In fact, I want Monolith Soft to remake the first one and apply the improvements they made here.
Nah, that'd be a ton of work and would completely change the game, at that point I'd rather them just focus their development budget on Xenoblade 3 instead (or Xenoblade X-2, or Xenogears 2 or Xenosaga 4 or Baten Kaitos 2 or Soma Bringer 2 or Disaster 2 or something original).
If they remake xenoblade 1 (which shouldn't be soon) it should stay just as it was with minor improvements here and there and much better graphics. XC1 with XC2 combat wouldn't be XC1
pikachu896 More importantly, how would that even work without the Blades. Thing is, the two games have essentially the same battle system at the foundational level. 2 expands upon it is all. Take out the blades and all that they bring and you basically have the battle system from 1.
what blew me away was the lack of a player's guide. they have guides for games that don't need them, but a game like this that could really benefit from one doesn't have one... makes no sense.
I just finished the main story today, like, after putting 135 hours in or so. It was completely worth it. It sure has some glaring flaws (the RNG blade system, some of the progression tracks, the pathfinding, the lack of in game encyclopedia to mark where you can find stuff, to name just a few), but the gameplay and story more than made up for it in my case. Then again, I am a total nut for JRPG's, and I can very easily see how some people would find this game horrifying because it's so... well, different from what they are used to.
Boring is subjective. What is boring to one person is not necessarily boring to the next. Tastes differ. Many people get a great amount of pleasure out of JRPG's, even if probably more people don't. For the people who do get the enjoyment out of it though, the games are most likely not boring. Saying they ARE would therefore at best serve you to rile those people up. You FIND the games boring. I can understand that. The game functions in a way that does not interest you. That does not mean the games ARE boring. They do not bore me, they function in a way that very much does interest me.
RogelioDelaToro And I'd say the opposite. That's exactly my point. I preloaded Odyssey because of all the amazing reviews and stuff, and have only played it like 30 hours since then. I had some fun but it wasn't worth $60. XC2 on the other hand I bought day 1 and since have played 120 hours and am still going. It was much more worth the money. (XC2's soundtrack alone is worth more than Odyssey in it's entirety to me)
Opinions are not fact they are are subjective, while one person might see this game boring another will see this game pretty good. I tried to get into this game but I seriously can't this game is way to cartoonish/anime look. I prefer the look of xenoblade chronicles X
Just beat this game last week and holy hell its amazing!!! Pushing through end game by getting all my blades. Hope you’re having fun with this awesome title
I'm nearly at 90 hours and I could easily put in another 100 or more. Love this game. I wasn't expecting to become so invested in the story (regardless of most of the humor not landing with me). I'm also really hoping to see XCX ported to the Switch. Thanks for this vid, Spawn!
Just casually leaving this here: www.change.org/p/monolith-soft-bring-back-the-think-you-can-take-me-and-don-t-forget-me-quotes-in-xc2 Don't mind me. G'day gentlemen.
Saying Xenoblade 2 is not connected to Xenoblade 1 is simply wrong. Whats true though is that you can absolutely play X2 without playing X1 first without missing something major. The connection between these two games is very smart and playing X2 after X1 gives you mostly the same effect as playing X1 after X2.
SPOILER ALERT (This is Endgame Stuff for both X1 and X2) So basically X1 and X2 are set in the same universe where earth as we know it once existed but a human named Klaus destroyed the entire universe during an experiment with some divine energy source (this is connected to the Xenogears games as well - it's really complicated). This experiment created two new parallel universes and Klaus' personality was split into two - one for each universe. Klaus also became somewhat divine. One half of Klaus became the 'architect' who created the world of X2 to redeem for what he's done while the other half in the parallel universe became Zanza who develops a god complex and eventually becomes the final boss of X1.
There's is something that makes you go "oh shit wow" if you played both games in whatever other. Even more so, people who played Xenosaga and Xenogears were having a field day with some of the stuff in XC2.
Man I love Mario, Zelda and Xenoblade, but I'll have to disagree with your choice. Not that I don't respect it, it's just that I believe Breath of the Wild to be more enjoyable and polished. Personally I play more Splatoon 2, so it's not a thing of a personal preference. Anyway, it's cool to know your personal opinion too.
Rare Blades Are more common to get depending on your luck level the higher your luck the bigger your chances. This game is definitely a emotional rollercoaster ride Towards the end... And I loved it.

This got recommended to me out of nowhere. I’ve been watching John’s stuff for almost a year now, and this is the first of his older stuff I’ve seen. I am thoroughly floored by this glo up.
Holy shit bro… you’ve lost a lot of weight. When I first saw this video I was like, who is this dude? It takes a lot of motivation and determination to lose weight and keep it off… especially being a gamer. I work out for an hour and a half every night. It makes it hard to game, but I want to stay fit. Well, you’ll probably never see this comment, but I just want to say it’s awesome
just started this game. I like it so far. I had heard some people say they didn't like it for whatever reason. I think maybe because I'm from the UK, the English dub doesn't sound bad to me. I thought the English was a bit weird on dragon Quest, but I think I was just getting used to hearing English accents in a anime dub, it's always been the exact same sounding american people since forever (I honestly wouldn't have been surprised to find out the same voice actors dub every anime previously ha ha)
Xenoblade 2's combat is awesome, I really love it. It's biggest downside is that if you want to experience all the intracacies you have to grind 10's of hours of post game. Even fighting the super bosses I didn't touch the surface of the combat this game has.
I only now realize how convoluted the systems in Xenoblade 2 is and also how much of a nerd I am for understanding every bit of it. My advice: you will receive one piece of the cake each time. It's not just "HEY YOU CAN DO THIS AND THEN YOU CAN DO THAT AND THIS", no, you get info one piece at a time. This way it's a lot easier to understand the entire scope of this games systems.
Disagreed, played the whole thing in english and watched a lot of it in Japanese. For the most part I much prefer the English (especially Morag, Tora, Gramps, and Malos)
brennan weaver Yeah... I got to the end of CH7 all in English, but sadly the English voice actor for rex cannot deliver when it comes to yelling and screaming. It made a lot of intense cutscenes cringe when they are so awesome in Japanese. I guess I shouldnt say it sucked. Its serviceable enought
Poku Gramps in Japanese is far worse than Rex in english though. And the majority of the characters are better in English. And if you don't think Rex can scream.... watch the chapter 10 scene during the final boss fight in English
Finished the game on 160 hours. Now I'm on 190 hours, still missing 5 rare blades. I want to cry. P.S. I've played 130 hours in handheld mode. It's not that bad after the first locations. P.P.S Think you can take me?
Merc lvls are for a certain blade. A lot of blades have side quests and end in Merc missions. As well as a few side quest chains end in Merc missions. Hell of a game.
Dharengo not at all. Imagine you are a person who likes solving mazes, then imagine every maze you start simply tells you what path to take to finish it.
For me personally it depends. Even in this game sometimes i feel i didnt travel enough sometimes i feel i traveled too much. And there are points where a quest is so far away or requires a lot of work to get to a quest and i just put the game down for a bit. other times im happy that i get to go on a long trip through the game.
Thanks for the review! I'm like 70 hours into this grind of a game and I'm still trying to learn about Merc Missions and Affinity charts. I don't quite understand the combat fully either but for the most part I'm good. This game is a behemoth.
I finished the game clocking in around 117 hours. I had to get like 6 more rare blade. An amazing game. If you are into jrpg this is a must buy. I hope first Xenoblade gets a switch port
Just picked the special edition of this game up at Target marked down to $72! Pretty excited to start this game once I'm through a couple higher profile backlog items, but seeing a SpawnWave post-100hr commentary of this makes me even more excited!
Xeno2 is freaking amazing. 130 hours in chapter 6. Crazy story and gameplay is addicting. There's nothing wrong with this game, some things could be better but I don't care about visuals or frame rate for this type of game. Characters are so unique and story is very good.
Energetic Dog Nova I've been focusing on leveling up my blades, side quests and merc missions. I have 18 blades and level a 4 merc group half way to level 5. All of my titans are level three or higher. Only thing I'm sucking at is ether crystals for poppi.
Rly? I'm 60 hours in game and on chapter 9.. I mean, I'm not exactly doing the completionist thing but I have been doing a crap ton of sidequests and exploring more. And I can't beat Jin in world tree :c Most of my attacks just miss and I'm trying to figure out how to hit him more.. idk if it's accuracy or if I need to use those orbs or whatever they were or blade combos or even how to use them
I just started playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 today -got it some time ago in a sale and catch the expansion in the E3 sale this week-. Thanks for all the useful info as I doubted to get it. Overall I am enjoying it very much, as the combat mechanics are really demanding and interesting. Nevertheless, this is perhaps the first time I wish the Switch had more power to push the graphics of the game where they should be... handheld is so ugly.
(1,000 Comment) Fast forward to 2021, I'm almost at 100 hours and I don't think i'm halfway through the game. I'm hooked though, I beat Torna earlier in the year and enjoyed XCDE.
Out of all 3 Xenoblade Chronicle games this battle system is the easiest. They don't throw everything at you at once. You learn it throughout the game all the way till the end. Once you learn it you'll see how easy it is. It's by far my favorite battle system.
Can wait to get my switch in black Friday! I'm definitely gonna get Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and maybe Mario Odyssey. Just as starter games, I might get Skyrim later.
Thanks Jon. I'm one such person that doesn't have the game yet. Been playing Skyrim and that's big enough at the minute but I've been watching my friends stream Xenoblade 2. I reckon I'll get it down the track.
Bought it on launch.. and as a gamer with a massive backlog, I must have started playing this about 100 times.. but now I've finally been focusing on it. This is such a charming gem, and hit right home with me.
In essence if you enjoy massive JRPG's that have an excellent story, deep combat system, interesting characters and hundreds of hours of content, Xeno 2 is a must buy imo.
11:10 Spawn Wave: SInce you can only have 9 blades active at a time (3 per character) you're only leveling 9 at a time. Merc Missions let you level up (blade affinity charts of) 15 more blades at a time. Additionally getting Merc Missions up to Level 5 is the only way to get all of Roc's skills.
Never have I needed to use Google and TH-cam so much to play a single game than I have with this game. The frustrating field skill system is so bad it just boggles my mind how they thought that would be enjoyable. “ Collect stuff”? Really?? A little vague much?!? Some of the conditions you have to meet are so ridiculous that while trying to find Mythra’s favorite dessert item on google, I was lead to a freakin MICROSOFT SPREADSHEET created by redditers to help make sense of it all!! The painfully bad waypoint system. The fact that you can be 20-30 plus ours into the game and STILL get hit with tutorials. For whatever reason you can’t see or compare how accessories will affect your character until you BUY them and the item is in your actual inventory! WHAT?!? That’s basic RPG 1 0 FRIGGIN 1!!!! Am I supposed to just buy every accessory in every marketplace I visit to see if it will increase my characters party members stats or not? Who has time for that?!! You can see clearly what your weapons chips will do so why not vests and armor?! I’m NOT gonna sit there and run check all my current accessories and do the math of seeing if the percentage increase will be higher than the max HP output or vise versa. Just friggin let me compare to see what what stats I’m willing to sacrifice instead of leaving it to guess work! Don’t get me wrong, I’m about 40 hours in and I love the story and the characters and the battle system is just so much fun and pulling blade combos off is deeply satisfying. But many of those hours were just me being lost on the map and trying to make sense of all of the heavily flawed systems that are in place in this game. Without my findings on Google I would be so lost in this game because lord knows Prima Games apparently did NOT want to undertake the task of making a strategy guide for this beautiful mess of a game. Sorry I just needed to rant about this game. It’s soooo good in many aspects but so horribly bad in other aspects. There was a 10/10 here but it misses that mark because of its problems. I’m not putting the game down until the end credits role, but I can see why so many people walked away from this game.
Very similar kinds of reasons I had to put XCX down awhile back. I was about 60 hrs in and found myself really grappling with the combat system. The story didn't quite engage me, either.
Finished in 110 hours. I got most of the side quests and almost all of the locations and half the special blades. The story is so amazing. Edit: I played almost exclusively on TV which looked amazing. I played handheld over Christmas break and it was bad but I got used to it, still totally playable.
I love XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2 is one of my 2nd favorite after ZELDA BREATH OF THE WILD, I beat XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2 I thought I would never beat this game but I actually did it and I fell inlove with this game soooooo much
I don't think the battle system is even that complex, but it still manages to grip your whole attention because there's a bunch of little systems and mechanics in place that are relatively simple individually, but each of those mechanics builds on top of another, happens in real time and still demands some major discipline and planning ahead. It doesn't always make sense to hit that shiny button as soon as it lights up. You're basically playing a simple but perpetual quick-time event while having to watch your positioning, health levels, abilities and what the enemies are doing, all while also planning out and correctly executing your blade combo routes so you get a bunch of elemental orbs on the enemy before it dies for that huge finisher. I love games where you actually notice yourself getting better at it over hours and days, and this is a perfect example. I bought this not really expecting much, just reluctantly giving in to some of the hype, but got one of the most enjoyable and fresh experiences gaming has blessed me with in a long time. The value on this thing is insane. I paid about 70 for the game plus season pass, so for the price of going to the movies 4 or five times I was entertained for over 230 hours and still haven't done everything. Anyone who ever enjoyed an RPG or even just likes Anime should give this game a try.
The story behind Argentum was awesome! Finding out all those secrets, the history of the guild. How the conclusion was tied to multiple blade and chain quests. It was crazy how they did that.
I am a massive Xenoblade fan. I play them casually, so I'm not like a battle system expert in any of them, but I've always loved the exploration and story of the games. I just want to thank you for bringing up the map issues in this game. Compared to the original the map systems, the side quest systems, the accessory system are all heavily flawed and not a fraction as user friendly as the original, they took out the collectopedia, making tracking overworld items a pain, and scene directing is a mess, especially compared to the original. And the defense system really can be a pain without a way to directly affect your blade's defenses. End game enemies who launch low HP high damage area of effect attacks can bring even your best tanks down to low health from max, even when levelled above them, which can cause a full health team to drop in a matter of 2 attacks, and that is the worst feeling after spending a half hour fighting against the HP sponges that are the end game monsters. I couldn't even use Pyra against the final boss when I was 1 level below him because Rex continuously was 1 shot by him spamming a number of high damage attacks. I even had a whole portion of the fight where for 20% of his HP, we went to the back of the stage where my AI allies would not attack him, so i was the only one who could hurt him while he attacked from range. I had to use a healing blade and just continue to attack and heal and use level 4 specials for 20 minutes or more, just for him to come back forward to get my AI to start doing things again. Worst part was, he did it twice to me, luckily one of my partners somehow got into a spot to attack him from the second time, thank God.
I love this game. The story and visuals are very anime-like and I love it. I kinda fell in love with Nia’s character, especially after a certain point in the game. Characters are really well developed and the plot has many twists and very emotional moments I must admit my eyes were wet after a few cinematics. I loved the original Xenoblade story and love this one too. Don’t ask me to choose which one I like most because they are both great. This is a game you must play, IMHO. Graphics and performance are best docked anyway, even though I played it 99% of the time in handheld and it’s totally playable in that mode too.

We're spoiled by the lovely fact that we can climb everywhere in BotW and forgot there are a lot of games that won't let us do that. lol
Try playing Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade at the same time. I keep forgetting I can't climb or jump off tall cliffs in Xenoblade. One time I jumped to my death and I was like "Oh yeah..."
Funny because 60% of Monolith Soft worked on Breath of the Wild full time.
Leaving a core team of 40 people to work on XC2 + loads of outsourcing.
Besides being able to climb everything in botw. I felt like botw’s movement was way more fluid than xenoblades 2. Xenoblades 2 while being a good game, feels a little clunky. The characters also feel a bit floaty.

It is more ironic if you consider how Nintendo promoted Xenoblade X saying you can go on whatever you see in the world

Yeah, it is pretty good.
If you haven't already, play the original Xenoblade. If you love Xenoblade 2, you'll love the first Xenoblade. And vice versa.
Why are you playing them at the same time? It seems very time consuming lol.
will definitive edition is coming to the switch ;)
This is easily my favorite Switch game.
I hope it continues to sale well.
There arent many good switch games. If trails of cold steel was on the switch my opinion on best switch jrpg would change

Only one million? Don't forget it was only out for a month. For such a niche game it is an amazing total
Usually the first month makes up over half of the games lifetime sales.
so 1 million pedos? way to generalize my dude, shows your intelligence level.
Prodigy I agree with you on the second part but as an anime fan I can tell you that sadly 5 million pedos isn't that hard to believe....
Brian Antoine yes but hes still generalizing basically everyone who bought the game. My point stands
That's more than XCX sold. XCX sold around 950K just shy of a million copies in it's entire lifetime. Granted that's cause it was on the Switch. So XC2 selling 1 million copies in 1 month is complete success. It'll continue to sell going forward.
What about the music!? It boggles my mind that people forget about the soundtrack. It's one of the reasons I love the series.
I love the Counter Attack song, main theme, and world tree version of the main theme. Errything else I never noticed. Except indol. That was annoying as hell
Tantal outdoors wass fucking orgassmicc
I love that one song that sometimes plays during cutscenes you know the super serious one
I dont give a damn about music ever. I'm probably in the minority. But I just listen to other stuff when I'm playing games
I love when the sun rises and the music changes and they all cheers it’s a new day
Man, you lost so much weight; props and respect to you man, I'm proud of you! This is phenomenal. You look fantastic nowadays, you still looked great back then though haha :)
Did not realize how much a glow up Spawn had over the past 3 years, audio included. Well done 🤙🏻
Was thinking this. He’s lost some weight too
lmao fr i told my friend spawn wave is buff, and he said he used to be fat, i wouldnt call him fat here, but he definitely in a lot better shape now
Yeah, actually an incredible transformation!
DONT FORGET ME
I've had it since Day 1 and never had a crash or issue
+Wheeljack2k
The memory leaks are related to the Switch not being shut down properly and regularly. If you completely shut down your Switch after each session, you won't encounter these issues. Standby mode doesn't cut it.
Rajin90
Really? Will have to try that next time I play then, since I still have framerate issues after playing for a while.

For a game made almost by only 40 people...its more than impressive. (the rest of the team was occupied with a little thing called "Breath of the Wild", just saying)
Well it wasn't just 40 people, Nintendo took them in the middle of development

Cool! Just started playing it! Liked! :D
This game is amazing
Dank lord indeed, I LOVE the combat system. It was so boring in the beginning but super deep and fun midway
Dank lord SAME
Dank lord better than odyssey
King Savage I'm sure you changed his mind.
The combat in this game is like an mmorpg nothing amazing about it
The game is awesome tbh
Man, this guy has some cool shirts.
Once you sort that out navigation is super easy.
already have 120 hours in this game, still loving it and may even be my favorite switch game
Kevin Blaize that good
It's a very good game.
+King Savage In the future, please explain your opinions instead of just stating them. Otherwise you're just wasting everyone's time.
Will the first xenoblade ever come to switch? Cause I just bought Switch, wii u aint my jam
@ANTHONY it is
thank you so much for the review & for the legit feedback on the game. I was hesitant at first but I ended up adding xenoblade chronicles 2 to my wishlist now 😊
Tora would disagree about this game: Meh meh meeeeeeeeeeh!
Path finding is an algorithm used in games to know what path to use to move AI controlled characters from point A to point B avoiding terrain obstacles, which in this game is fine. I think it's more precise to say that the problem you mentioned is that the map lacks the detail for underground tunnels in some areas.
Dijkstra
XC1 with XC2 combat wouldn't be XC1
amihart from what I've heard XC and XC X are being developed side by side, which means we'll have XC X 2 before XC 3
If you implement XC2's battle system to XC1 then it won't feel like XC1 anymore.
pikachu896 More importantly, how would that even work without the Blades.
OpposingForces they actually have informants in each town that can give you additional information
They do have it, but spread through NPC.
It was complete slap in the face when they had the gal to charge in game currency for tutorials! I lost it, and just wanted to get the bikinis already
RogelioDelaToro Objectively, all opinions are subjective.
RogelioDelaToro you're making yourself look stupid. Platformers are generally boring to me, but tons of people love them. They're not outright bad
Holy crap I'm watching this video in 2022, that is incredible body transformation!!!
I'm on my last chapter and I can say that I will be so sad once I'm finished with this game. This game is freaking fantastic.

This game is a gem. The best soundtrack among all games btw.
Eduardo Naveda Rex is secretly shulk's mum...wait, SPOILER ALERT XD
SPOILER ALERT (This is Endgame Stuff for both X1 and X2)
So basically X1 and X2 are set in the same universe where earth as we know it once existed but a human named Klaus destroyed the entire universe during an experiment with some divine energy source (this is connected to the Xenogears games as well - it's really complicated).
Tsunakumura saying it is connected is a spoiler that’s why a lot of you-tubers don’t talk about the connection
He’s not wrong it’s like final fantasy you will always seen references from past games but it has nothing to do with them

The way you presented that list, with number one on the bottom instead of having it on top, REALLY bothers me.
Yes yes YEEEESSSS.

It was the first game I bought for Switch and I loved it from start to end.
250 hrs in... This is a great game if you have the time to really get invested in it.
You have to play subbed tho... the english sucks....

Merc lvls are for a certain blade. A lot of blades have side quests and end in Merc missions. As well as a few side quest chains end in Merc missions. Hell of a game.
Is it weird that I find enjoyment in the game not telling me exactly how I get where I need to be but having to find my own way there?
Dharengo not at all. Imagine you are a person who likes solving mazes, then imagine every maze you start simply tells you what path to take to finish it.
For me personally it depends. Even in this game sometimes i feel i didnt travel enough sometimes i feel i traveled too much. And there are points where a quest is so far away or requires a lot of work to get to a quest and i just put the game down for a bit. other times im happy that i get to go on a long trip through the game.

Xeno2 is freaking amazing. 130 hours in chapter 6. Crazy story and gameplay is addicting. There's nothing wrong with this game, some things could be better but I don't care about visuals or frame rate for this type of game. Characters are so unique and story is very good.
YAY you are like me. 150 hours in chapter 6. I got very lost at one point.

Rly? I'm 60 hours in game and on chapter 9.. I mean, I'm not exactly doing the completionist thing but I have been doing a crap ton of sidequests and exploring more. And I can't beat Jin in world tree :c
Most of my attacks just miss and I'm trying to figure out how to hit him more.. idk if it's accuracy or if I need to use those orbs or whatever they were or blade combos or even how to use them

Out of all 3 Xenoblade Chronicle games this battle system is the easiest. They don't throw everything at you at once. You learn it throughout the game all the way till the end. Once you learn it you'll see how easy it is. It's by far my favorite battle system.

Additionally getting Merc Missions up to Level 5 is the only way to get all of Roc's skills.

If you are on the edge of buying it. Just get rid of all doubts and get it, because it is the best game I have ever played!
Damn Spawn has lost a lot of weight since this video!
This game is up there with FF9 in terms on emotional story telling . If you like rpgs this is a must
Deem bro, your skinnier in you newer videos

Second best anime I ever played.
Was xenogears the first? :)
