This video has a fond place in my heart, as she just casually knocks out such a perfect rendition of a song, sitting down, from the lyrics on her phone. In this video you can see just how amazingly good a singer she really is, how amazing and effortless that voice is for her. If i was hosting that radio program I would be in silence at least 10 seconds after she finished. She is, despite her young age, the personification of a Diva, in the positive sense of the word, a female artist above most others. It's no wonder so many people, famous talented people included, get so starstruck around her. She's just built different. I'm not sensitive to fame, to me a person is a person and I don't really get bothered by someone just because they are in the public eye, but I'm pretty sure If I ever crossed paths with Diana Ankudinova I would stare and probably look like a creep. :)

These are poems by the great Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva. "With Whom Jacob Stood in the Night" is a reference to a story from the Bible. This video has a fond place in my heart, as she just casually knocks out such a perfect rendition of a song, sitting down, from the lyrics on her phone. In this video you can see just how amazingly good a singer she really is, how amazing and effortless that voice is for her. If i was hosting that radio program I would be in silence at least 10 seconds after she finished. She is, despite her young age, the personification of a Diva, in the positive sense of the word, a female artist above most others. It's no wonder so many people, famous talented people included, get so starstruck around her. She's just built different. I'm not sensitive to fame, to me a person is a person and I don't really get bothered by someone just because they are in the public eye, but I'm pretty sure If I ever crossed paths with Diana Ankudinova I would stare and probably look like a creep. :)

Wonderful! When a young, modern girl takes these old, deep and beautiful verses and sings them in such a unique way, you know nothing is lost! Great music and cosmic vocals - real art for connoisseurs! In my home, this video has been watched at least 30 times and each time Diana is different! You discover a new shade and say to yourself "One more time!"
Most of the time when I watch reactionaries, I watch to see if they genuinely understand not only that Diana’s voice is wow, different and what she does is very very difficult. The first, the wow factor, most see in the more produced shows. The different factor is immediately evident from the sound. But most people forget the incredible difficulty in what she does because she makes everything look easy. Like here, she is just sitting, not even focused, looking around and suddenly she opens her mouth and THIS comes out. She makes it look easy so almost everyone forgets that she alone can do what she does. It is dangerous to forget this but since most reactionaries are only here for the wow and the views, the difficulty is not appreciated nor the fact that nobody else can do what she does. The lyrics of 'I Will Win You Back' are from a poem written in the early 1900s by the much loved Russian Poetess, Marina Svetaeva.
Of course an English translation and interpretation has to be problematic. With your refined sensibility and helped by Diana's interpretation, you show that much can be appreciated.
Marina Svetaeva is the author who also wrote the poem used as the lyrics in the song 'In My Huge City' which Diana released in her YT channel about 5 months ago.
This is a lyric video, with over 1,000,000 views, well worth a listen, and surely not subject to copyright takedowns.
