    I absolutely love love love the newborn cloth diapering stage. I’m on my 4th baby due soon and I’m anxiously awaiting to get to utilize them again. There just so adorable and it’s a fun stage! I have 7 to 10lb babies and I’m able to use them for a good while. I do prefolds and covers and a few aios in the newborn stage.

    I loved loved loved the nb diapers and regretted so much that I didn’t have them with my first in cloth from day one. Thankfully I was able to get some by the second week and it was so much fun. With my next I was sure to have them and enjoyed using them right in the hospital. Using nb diapers is actually the easiest and most effective times to use cloth as they are easier to use and they keep blowouts contained which is a huge headache. Anyone not using cloth in the nb stage is majorly missing out!

    All in ones take much longer to dry
    I had them for the newborn stage, and I had to do 2 drying cycles, and I was still not satisfied with the dryness

      @@rosea164 100%. I used to air dry mine and it would take 2x as long as all my other diapers so now I just dry them with the inserts.

      I live in Montréal and in summer, we didn't have much sun!
      Also, the small flat inserts that I use for my newborn get rough if not dried in the dryer

    Prefolds are bae you can literally just tri fold them and lay them in a cover mimicking an aio
    Prefolds traditionally was something wrapped around and pinned on baby. However they are so versatile and easy to use I use them with pockets and covers and I even lay them ontop of the pocket because they are natural they don’t have to be stuffed

    Have you tried Thirsties Duo brand? How does it compare?

      I have not, but it looks like they have some pretty decent reviews! If it’s a brand you’re interested in, my suggestion would always be to purchase a couple to see how you like them before going all in ☺️

    The diaper system that has the snap in and out inserts is called an AI2 (All in two). An AIO (All in one) is when the inserts are sewn in and can't be removed.

      @thedesertdaydreamer  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you referring to the Grovia O.N.E? An AI2 makes sense. They have it listed on their site as an all in one though, so I just classified it as that.

    Most pockets don’t have those types of adjustable systems like Charlie banana

      It’s definitely unique. I initially thought it looked convenient but once I got them and was adjusting them I realized it was the opposite 😂

    Grovia are ok but there’s soooo many way better diapers than Grovia

      @@yume816 I didn’t cloth diaper when my son was a newborn (waited till about 2 months) so I unfortunately can’t really answer this question, but I feel like going second hand in newborn diapers would be a good idea since they’ll only be in them for a short time 👍

      @@thedesertdaydreamer I support using second hand for most baby things but second hand diaper just grosses me out unless I know the mother it came from. hehe Do you have any strong opinion on Tdap and newborn vaccination?
