Saw them five days ago in Belgium - first row, one meter from them! - and my only very small regret is that they had no piano with them (and that's totally understandable!). Not only did they play amazingly well and delivered a great show, but they were genuinely lovely people. Concert of the year for me!
It was a great concert. So sad that the stage isn’t 20 centimeters higher when you are in the bottom of the room. But yes, a really good evening.
I was there too. It was great to see them so close and they played SSS but yes they deserve to play in better conditions rather than small places. The show was very good but a little too short. I would have liked them to play 3 or 4 more songs
@@IAmTheSomberlain666 of course, me too, but we must realize it's a tour and they can't take the risk to ruin Asami's voice! I remember the tour with Dragonforce, her voice was shot at the last concert. Here her voice was pristine and I think it will stay great till the end thx to balanced schedule and such medium-length gigs.

this is the opening theme song for the anime 'vladlove'. the creators approached LOVEBITES to write the song because they thought the band's sound and look would represent the feel and mood of the anime. it's about a teenaged vampire girl named mai and a female high school student who kind of takes her under her wing. also there are assorted weird characters that make up the rest of the crew. it is available with english subtitles on youtube and you might consider watching the opening couple of epiosdes to see LOVEBITES do the song at the outset.
I've been trying to watch Vlad Love (English dub version) and... it's very strange.
A high school girl who is a blood donation fanatic (she wears a jacket with a half-full of blood syringe patch on the back) who is not allowed to give blood because she has "Chimera blood" and who finds a girl vampire who doesn't want to take blood from the unwilling but who can drink hers, and falls in sapphic love.
All of this is overseen and manipulated by a school nurse with a fascination with blood and who wears almost nothing, looking like a dominatrix.
And I'm only on the second episode. 😂😉🍻
@@randomchord weird - no doubt - i made it through the first 10 episodes and it just kept getting weirder . i'm an old dude and only have watched one anime before this one called bangdream. now that one is very cool being about a girl's high school where it's a big thing to have a band. there are 7 bands in it and 4 are real bands - poppin'party , raise a suilen . roselia ,and morfonica - that's the band that violinist ayasa plays for as well as EAST OF EDEN who is a new band from last year - and they are GREAT. roselia is excellent also with a drummer - megu sagurakawa - that gives haruna a run for her money in the cuteness factor and is all smiles al the time. here's a live song from roselia you might like called 'ringing bloom' : th-cam.com/video/_mLJ9QHTnA0/w-d-xo.html

I'm 60, GenX, and cut my teeth on Ralph Bakshi (Felix, Coonskin, LOTR, Wizards, etc), Akira, Heavy Metal (I collected the magazine years before the movie...Epic, Conan, Vampirella, Fangoria too) so I'm all good with "weird".
My love of heavy metal (the music genre) helped too.😁🍻

@@randomchord well LOVEBITES is my favorite band these days and i'm a metal dude as weall. roselia is not a metal band - more rock. but once again very attractive japanese ladies that can play well. can't believe the female talent coming from japan in the last 15 years or so. metal , rock and everything in between

Epilogue is absolute masterpiece “ballad”. Edge of the world is a true journey that’ll blow you away as well.
The story is in the MV Vlad's Love Anime version has scenes from the Anime that asked them to do their song
I'm glad for you that you watched the live version first.
It shows a lot of guitar work that most miss when watching the VLADLOVE version.

Always enjoy the live videos of Lovebites, but there are a few I like of their official music videos. With the cool Anime the video has (VLADLOVE) I like the music video a bit more.
For a real good example of what Miyako can do on the piano do Swan Song with Chopin intro (Five of a Kind, 21/02/2020) and for another song that Midori makes the guitar scream and Miyako uses lots of wah pedal as well and the ladies dress down and exchange instruments - Stand and Deliver Official Music Video

Miyako is a virtuoso on BOTH the guitar and piano. She has been classically trained on the piano since she was 3. Did you notice that Miyako is pregnant? + wear high heels + moving around + up & down the stage + almost 2 hours show? She's a brave woman. The Favorite is the song playing at the moment
Miyako was classically trained on piano from age 3, she self taught on guitar starting at 18! She is better on piano than on guitar, synth, keytar, bass, drums or anything else she can play IMHO (yeah she has a savant brain and can be intimidating). Most live videos that are not on the official channel are copied without permission from their DVDs and usually get taken down. Some are fancams from their tour this year.

The guitars, wonderful as always, with Midori doing incredible things, but Asami's thing in this song has no name, it is out of range, it gives the rhythm and tone to the song at every moment and ends with an absolutely wonderful howl, Besides being extraordinarily pretty!
