This is my Segway x260 that I built up in this video( this is the talking version of this build, do have a fast paced one with no talking) #ext #warp9 #trillseekers #surron #segway
The converter that you didn’t know what it did is a DC to DC buck converter. Gas motorcycles have a 12 volt electrical system to run all the electronics (turn signals, headlights, blinkers etc). Some electric bikes have this converter to convert the battery voltage (50-67 volts in your case) down to 12 volts so that you can use generic motorcycle electric parts on your bike instead of having to buy specialty ones that work with higher voltages.
Thank you glad it helps! I’m definitely thinking about it more but once I get a new battery I’ll have to get ride of the wrap and go with the color scheme I want but I like the wrap I want to soon though! I do have a razor mx650 I was going to do a 14kw kit build but might just finish the surron build instead now and trow the old surron parts in the razor
What do you think about the tusk stand? Pretty stable when jacked up high? Also what did you think after the first ride on the new forks on rough terrain? Were you blown away?
I’m really liking the tusk stand definitely a good purchase if you work on your bike definitely trust it when it’s jacked all the way up as long as the bike is tied down with 2 mounts! But yea first ride I was definitely impressed felt like a new bike went over rough terrain with ease👌
Yea I was thinking about it, but I still have a couple things I need to buy for it and I want all my blacks and everything to match perfect! But now I don’t have to worry about scraping it up scene’s for round 2 everything will be painted to match and then it will be complete
I hade this bike when it was complete. But the only place I know where you can get one is surronshop, I can get you a code to save some if end up getting one
I don’t haven’t messed with the adjustments to much but it’s been feeling great! I like my settings to be more stiff, but I think I went with that spring more because I have trailer for it
Not sure if I understand your question, but yes it has titanium bolts (lighter and stronger then stock + look cool) and no it’s technically not a stock controller for this bike. it was a 1200watt upgrade compared to my stock Segway controller!
@@electric_things_ Thanks for the explanation! I'd definitely recommend prioritizing a new controller and battery - you're going to have a blast with the enhanced performance. Your rebuild was not only informative but also easy to follow. I've learned a lot from it. Keep up the great work!
@@phil.d6449thanks man I’m glad it’s helpful!I definitely agree with you on the power upgrades can’t wait to get them, definitely going to be the fastest thing I own!
Yea the bike needed it,couldn’t even handle the stock power and broke most the parts I upgraded! Did add 2,000watts from my stock Segway power train + bigger sprocket that definitely noticeable on the low end torque
Thank you! I’m not exactly sure it did take me longer because of filming but could be done in one session/day , but I think it took 2 hours to take it apart then I broke it down into 2 days around couple hours each so maybe around 10-12 hours I’d guess with filming!
How does this video not have more views? Good work on the build, bet it rides like a dream!
Haha thank you I appreciate it!
This was a dope build! I learned some new things from you🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, glade you got something out of it!⚡️🙏
A masterpiece in every sense of the word .
Thank you 🙏

Aww that makes scenes and good to know! Figured it was converting something to make the main power work
Great, Informative video!
Thank you!🙏
clicked off the quick one to hear you yapp brotha kep it up
Aye thanks brotha figured it would have been the opposite way around🔥
gz on1k. well deserved
Aye thanks bro I appreciate it!🔥
Warp9 is lookin good
Thank you🙏
Please put links to all the parts in the description!
can put the url of the products?
pls
I'm in the midst of doing the same thing - an 80v, 25kW frame-up build from scratch. Thanks for posting this and the shorter version, it's helpful.
That’s sounds like a fun build fs! Does 80v have better specs vs the 72v? And thank you glad it’s helpful in some way!
@@electric_things_ as always, more volts = more fun!
@@CoolWattshaha sounds accurate!⚡️
amazing build and super helpful!
when are you going to upgrade the battery controller and motor?

make sure you put the bump stops on the forks so they don't scratch against the frame
@@Maverick31535 definitely, mine didn’t come in the box but ext put them on when I took it to the shop cuz valve was ruined
@@electric_things_ good because you don’t want to be spending that much money on forks to get them ruined right away.
where did you bought the parts from?
Can you drop a link for the stand you were using?
Yea I’ll go look for it! I just got it from Rocky Mountain atv think it was called the scissor lift

@@electric_things_ Awesome. Thanks man.
Should have got flat black frame spray paint and painted the frame so it looked new before doing all that.

Where did you buy the wrap from?
I just got it on the warp 9 website!
Where did you buy that frame?
I hade this bike when it was complete. But the only place I know where you can get one is surronshop, I can get you a code to save some if end up getting one
The LBX desperately needs a gear box.
@@shockadellick what are the some advantages on that? I was liking how simple it was to remove the chain but the gearbox looks nice
@@electric_things_
1. reliability
2. less noisy
3. 100 x less service
Do you regret going with the 550lb spring?
I don’t haven’t messed with the adjustments to much but it’s been feeling great! I like my settings to be more stiff, but I think I went with that spring more because I have trailer for it
Where did you get the frame from?
I actually hade this bike when it was complete, but the only place I know where you can get one is at surronshop!
Where did you get the frame from
This was a complete Segwayx260 that I stripped down to the frame for this video!

no way u didnt powder coat the frame or paint it before you put it together tho
It’s true I did not🥲 haha round 2 she will get the matching paint theme

What do you do for a living bro?😂
Ты лучше купи хороший комплект ключей для ремонта своего байка , и покрась его ))
What do you mean by good set do they make better aftermarket ones? Paint job definitely in the future👌

• 3 ч I mean, it would be nice to work with a good tool ) it's always nice to have good wrenches at hand, bro ❤
Great vid, how long did it take you to build it that day from start to finish?
