I would grab the Rawrr Mantis 72 volt version!!! I just did and so glad that I did! It’s bigger and the torque is like that!!!!

What was the shipping and delivery time like for you?
Would this be a good replacement for a 2 stroke dirt bike?
How do you keep your front brake line from tickling the spokes? I just got mine and no matter how many zip ties I use the slack that develops when the suspension compresses finds its way into the spokes
Hmm that’s a bummer. I just have a bit of slack at the bottom of my line and then about 5 zip ties up the fork and I haven’t had any issues
I bought the Pro S from Grit Shift. to my house in Md in less then a work week I had a cupon code that brought it down from 3999 to 3499 So I was happy with that.
This bike wheelies like a dream! On day 1 I was at balance point and I suck at wheelies and I've never wheelied an electric bike even 1 time before!

The 17" Sumo wheels luna cycle sells fit great, with zero problems as do a lot of other Suron parts do.

Another difference between Gen1 & 2
Gen 2 has a different tune:
Eco = 28mph
Sport = 60mph
Turbo = 63mph
Mine is a gen 1 but I chose to take later delivery so the can put on all the gen 2 upgrades, only thing i want is a bigger battery for more range & to raise Eco top speed to 45....which means they will probably need to raise sport mode top speed too
Thanks for noting that! I’m with you on the bigger battery! I’d love to have another battery and keep one as a backup for outings to add ride time.
@stuartvoigt Np & yeah in the Eride reddit there's a few battery companies trying to make aftermarket kits but i think im going to wait for Eride to release the ProSR & buy that battery

How quickly can you remove and install the battery? Like can I hot swap to a fresh battery in less than a minute or two? I'd need to be able to take the battery out to charge it each time as I live in an apartment building on the third floor.
Yes! You can swap the battery in like 20 seconds. Very easy!
can you license the bike and can you put pedals on it?

when i ride and i pop a wheelie and drop it back down it starts to beep 3 times and like 5 seconds later i ride just normally and it will beep 3 times

Do your back brakes make a really loud noise when you’re trying to stop???
They used to, but not since upgrading pads!

I actually had to email them after a day or two to get a confirmation email.
Asheville is kinda close. I’d like to ride downtown n maybe hit them skateparks up.
I haven’t really ridden downtown much, and haven’t seen any other SurRon riders here so I don’t know how that would go 🤷♂️ I try to stay on backroads or be somewhat inconspicuous when riding on roads.

Do they make a chain conversion like the surron?
For the belt drive? I’m not sure, but I’ve seen people saying they wouldn’t recommend the chain because it reduced power. Apparently E Ride has never had a belt break.

I don’t know about resale, probably haven’t been many sold used yet. I would think it would be similar to SurRon market. Maintenance is not bad, basically like a mountain bike. No oil to change or valves to check though!

I bought mines on March 4th, they said it was scheduled for pickup Monday, still haven't received tracking info. My question is how long before they send tracking information it's day 10

You could, probably not enough comfortable room for more than a kid/small person on the back.
I have a jingle in the front of my handle bars and wondering if anyone knows what it could be?
Hmm, only thing I can think of is potentially loose spokes? My spokes have become loose over time

You should be able to feel if any are loose by wiggling each one, if they aren’t loose to the touch then it may not be where the sound is coming from.
Are they as upgradable as a surron? What is not upgradable on the ss?
I’m not sure if they are as upgradeable just because there are slight differences in build design on some parts. Obviously since it hasn’t been around as long as the SurRon there are not as many aftermarket parts made specifically for it.
Some parts do fit like the wheels sprocket forks except the rear suspension since it's different

The 2.0 looks sweet.. I like the updates! Would love to have one, but I wouldn’t trade it for all the time I’ve been able to ride mine since November!

great informational video and covered a lot of questions that would determine me purchasing but the popping noise between each question almost made me throw my phone….
Edit: the voice audio was so low that i had to turn it up max volume to still barely hear but also made the popping noise deafening 🤬

Quick search shows a couple options on eBay for a SurRon that could work.. haven’t seen much of that though but I bet it’s possible!

@@stuartvoigt bro I did and what sucks is I have to wait til Monday for them to get back to me. Also found out there was a cut wire and my button to toggle eco and sport is damaged man this really sucks
@@stuartvoigt fully charged and it was on sport lol even turbo didn’t work. Well it doesn’t matter because the bike is dead and and won’t move on 100%
@@merclainolol dude there a speed limiter installed on the bike by factory, open up you bakery case take it the battery out, remove the battery cover door and remove the two bolts on the ignition and that’ll give you more space for you hand so you can take out all the wires in the back and then look for a cable connector that has a black looped wire on the end of it and disconnect it then wrap up the exposed end with electrical tape so moisture doesn’t corrode it over time

Cant find any videos on that. I've had a surron light bee, an ultra and a talria sting favorite by far was the ultra it's alot bigger feels like an actual dirtbike and you can actually have a passenger. Ublike the others I mean ya you can have a second person on your back like your girl or sum but its not pleasant i had to sit on the battery top which was painful and just have my feet outwadd
I know you might not know the answer to this one, but where is the company E Ride Pro Inc based? On the website for the Pro S and SS it doesn't say anything about what country they're from. And googling them comes up with a place in California but there's no actual information on it. I doubt they're actually made in America but I just really can't find anything about them.
Yeah I’m just guessing they are based in California based in the address I’ve seen and of course the bike seems to be largely made overseas. That’s all I know 🤷♂️
