- What's going on guys so we have a set of t5 transporter wheels to paint in gloss black and the customer is going for the off road look tyre.

Bf Goodrich 215 65 16 really nice tyres and I like the look he's going for.

Was looking at spending a fortune on some gloss alloys with bfg's but these look just as good so going for this option! Thanks for your great video and saving me a thousand quid 👍

Hey Andy thank you mate 👍 this was the first set of steelies I’ve been asked to do most people want alloys done but steelies do look nice with a fresh lick of paint on.
@@YTDTETV they do look mint on the video. I have a set of steeliest that I just chucked some Hammerite over which really do need to go round to my local wheel refurber to look that good. I’m after that swamped look too. Anyway, still fairly newish to your channel, so it’s good to go back and see what else you have done. Looks good 👍🏻. I never fancied huge wheels with skinny tires on a van, definitely not where I want to drive mine (anywhere I fancy) there’s a lot to be said for not having to constantly look out for incoming damage from the roads.

Thank you for the video. You did a cracking job on those steelies, and the gloss black finish combined with the new all terrain tyres makes them look top. Have to say I prefer steelies to alloys as they're more rugged.

He’s alright he always helps me out is a good friend. That’s great glad you enjoyed the video. I really like the steel wheels with big tyres, loads cheaper than alloys to.

@@fattyshtc That’s a big change in work for you, the motor trade can be hard work mentally sometimes but I guess any trade is the same (customers 😂) I love abit of woodwork I’ve always enjoy it since secondary school. I make absolute anything I need out of wood, that and metal I’m a sucker to both. Built a workshop ay go on 👍 I’d love to bike a cabin in the middle of no where and just make videos on here.
@@YTDTETV yeah it's the long hours and French cars that ruined it for me. The customers kept me going. Now I get more play time and realistically the saw does the work.

You alwase was pretty good at doing wheels. 1 of the last times I see you you had done some old tsw wheels so must of been years ago.

Should of gone way bigger tyre on og suspension though mine lowered 60mm all round but looks mint.

Hi James.. ooo that don’t sounds nice, grinders definitely ain’t to be messed around with and the wire wheel attachment is definitely the most aggressive.
@@YTDTETV thought it was a chunk of rust that bounced off my hand until I tried to bend it, had it in there over a week by the time I could get an appointment.. probably just a freak accident. Loving the finished wheels! Look better than new
