Coming from a Audi previously to a 2011 WRX, I broke something, pulled the slave off to check the fork and it has a bearing noise so I now I know i gotta pull it. Thanks for the info, watched a video that was for an 04 so I thought I could pull the fork without removing the trans but didn't know these cars trans were different

I have a video coming out soon this weekend I pulled the engine and replaced the clutch. Pulling the trans or engine are both pretty easy. I think the engine was actually easier if you have access to a hoist might be something to look at? I haven’t had any experience with the older transmission so I wouldn’t be much help. Sounds like the throw out bearing is your problem though. While you have it out I’d recommend just doing the clutch fork right away for a cheap part it’s very easy to replace. How many miles did your fork let loose ? how many miles since the replacement I do hear this is a very common issue

I believe mine let out at around 130-150k miles.
