David Doty is the best source for ID that I've found. Strawser has about 300 or so pieces coming up for auction in two days, as well as a LOT of Fenton. Go to the LiveAuctioneers website. I've got a few tumblers and vases myself, but I' more into Bohemian glass. I occasionally sell on eBay myself... Scottys_Glass_101

Thank you for this video! The bowl that you can't identify (with a flower in the middle) is by Fenton, called Cosmos Variant. The only slight problem with this is the edges- they suppose to be more pointy ....hope you have an original bowl. Cosmos Vt pattern can be found in marigold (the one you have), purple, blue, white, iridized milk and red colours.

I love this video, very informative. I used to have 2 matching fruit bowls, same as you show in this video, the unidentifiable fluted flower bowl in marigold. I believe they belonged to my great grandmother and have always thought they were from the 1950’s though could be older. I’ve always said the flower was a marigold but don’t think it actually is? I say ‘used to have as I sold 1 of them at a bootsale a few years ago for £7! Ouch. I still have the one though don’t think I will be selling that one for £7 now. I guessed the good luck bowl was a fake, thought the finish was a bit dull?

I didn't know anything about carnival glass, but I noticed the edge of the darkest ruffle bowl to the right front of the screen seems to have a golden looking edge. I'm pretty sure that is the good luck one, which you identified as a fake. it looks quite a bit different that the others at first glance.

Carnival glass was not produced until after 1900. Also, the actual carnivals were in the 1920's and 30's, not the 1950's. Facebook has a very well run "Vintage Glass" group that could be very helpful on this subject.
