Hey, I have the Fenton Holly bowl as well and I was wondering what year it was made?

*I ♥ that Peacock Tail pattern. I watched a video of someone showing off their "pick up" bargains w/ a beautiful Carnival Glass dish. That was you ! You said it was by Imperial and is called "Scroll Embossed". It's hypnotic.*
I have only just started a carnival glass collection this year (2021). I have the same 3 in 1 edge Fenton Holly bowl in green. I too buy what I like and what appeals to me, whilst also striving for some diversity in shapes and patterns within my very small collection. Loved seeing your pieces. Thank you.
*I know "hobstars" from cut glass. The same as the "sawtooth edge".* *_The designer was way off in capturing "holly leaves". the same goes for the "strawberry" pattern dish. The leaves are not close to a real strawberry plant's leaves._* *I know back in this era everyone was interested in "natural" subject matter. This "stylized" take on the real plants is strange ?* *_During this same period you have Sterling silver serving pieces and spoons. Those really capture the plant life that they attempt to capture._*
I have one of those bowls {the next to the last one you showed I think} but my ex father n law was a jeweler and "Zales" gave those out to their employees one year. I've never really known anything about it other than it's beautiful and I love it.
The Holly bowl is Ruffled, not 3&1. The edge treatment is not about the small intricate details on the the teeth of the bowl. It's about the shape of the entire edge around the bowl. Ice cream shape bowls are circular (like your peacock bowl). Ruffled is just wavy(like your Holly bowl), 3&1 has three small ruffles then a big ruffle repeatedly around the entire bowl, and CRE or Candy ribbon edge has tight ruffles like ribbon candy. Hope that helps. David dotys website has a great edge treatment reference.
So nice to see and hear about your collection. Thank you for explaining the history and details of your pieces. 😊
