I always use hotspot for my ps5 on my iPhone 15 and it works perfect no matter where i go, can’t image playing online gaming on this at the airport, road-trip, etc,

I remember carrying my ps4 pro in Afg and Iraq with the g story, but the ps5 is like carrying my pc around, not a very portable platform in my book

Great video Marc. This seemed like a perfect "portable" monitor for the PS5 but it's so overpriced. I'll stick with my old Hori monitor for the PS4. I hope this gets a good discount in the future.

I have the series s version. If you buy a USB 3.0 to barrel jack adapter you can run the monitor of the ps5 usb but can't turn the speakers all the way up

Doesn’t seem that portable to me if you have to power both systems with a wire. I had figured the g-story can be charged to power both devices.

The monitor must need its own power supply because of the screen, the screen on this bad boy has lots of nits which is hard for the ps5 to light up using its own usb.

Honestly, I can not fathom this at all. It is suppose to be a “laptop” form of portability. It is more bulkier and cumbersome to carry. I find that syncing my PS5 to either my Ipad Pro or Samsung Tablet and using the PS5 controller is way more portable than this bulky expensive contraption. Furthermore, for the most portability option, a Backbone controller attached to your iphone playing through remote play also makes it as a portable handheld console as well. So my point is, save that money, get your tablets out or cell phones and just use remote play; and for anyone wondering; whatever bug the app used to have, you no longer have to use the app within the same wifi network-I be going on vacation to Dominican Republic and my PS5 sits on my tv stand in NYC-works flawlessly!

Depends on the voltage the screen takes and what USB A ports can output
You know they sell splitters to make 1 outlet into two, right? Also, USB outputs are for low current applications, I doubt you can power a 4k monitor and speakers with 900mA.
Is there any input lag with this monitor? Enough to effect Call of duty
I just enlisted and I don't want a laptop, so I wanted something for my ps5 but the gaems cases aren't big enough for it, do you think this monitor with the bag would be the best alternative?

@@checcosfre doesn’t have VRR , I haven’t used it lately because bought the LGC1 like a dummy. But it’s worth it if you live in a small place or share your main tv with family or something. It’s very good quality and colors.

The big concern for me is heat thay screen is going to generate more heat does it make the ps5 run hotter than usual

4K looks great on the 15" screen. But for me 4K is better on a bigger screen. 1080p is still great for 15" screen.

Anyone who has this: Does the screen hinge click real lout when closing yours? I thought this was defective but after buying the screen for my Xbox Series S, that screen also clicks real loud from one side of the hinge, now I'm thinking it may just be some mechanism to help keep the lid closed but it sure does feel like it's a defective hinge.
