Cream buns actually originated in Hong Kong. That’s my understanding anywho. I’m going to try and make them tomorrow. I have such horrible luck using yeast. I made homemade croissants the other day. Homemade butter too. Made the French way. Took 3 days. I proofed them they didn’t rise much, hardly at all. Baked them they looked great, just flat. The ends tasted soooo gooood! I think I forgot to use warm milk and water to activate the yeast! What a dumb thing to do! 3 days all the folders ect wasted! 😭😭 but I’m stubborn and will try again. 🤔
