Watch the match where he first turns on Kevin Nash against Giant and Sting. I almost cried. They put on an AMAZING match, the crowd is CHANTING for them to stay together and turn on Hogan to be the new faces of the company together. When was the next time he was SEEN after that Pay Per View? Wolfpack needed to be Hall Nash Hart Macho (one elder statesman) and MAYBE Giant. That one match is actually the start of the fall from where they plateaued with the Starrcade Match. The best part? They’re actually a tweener group that can make new stars as heels and faces, and when did Scott Hall ever fail to get someone over when they were with him?

They’re professional wrestlers. He didn’t have a match himself that night; no one was in danger. After his world title match with Sting when they used Scott’s problem that should have been nipped in the bud months prior in order to sabotage both he AND Sting, he never wrestled when he shouldn’t have in wcw again, he was a functional alcoholic at this point because they were breaking his back for Hogan’s bank account. Everytime wcw listened to Hogan over their audience, all the boys were hurt for it.

El Hajj Malik El WCW always had the best in ring work. The production sometimes wasn't great though. They pride themselves on in- ring work. They started letting the inmates run the asylum, if they just had one voice of reason they still be around. Their roster was overflowing with talent. Some of the guys they had ended being big stars in WWF/E.

They remember nWo at its peak but not when it was watered down and boring. They remember a few exciting crusierweight matches but forget that those guys were pigeonholed and treated like lesser workers at the time. They remember Goldberg but forget his lame heel run. They remember all the great Nitro moments but they forget how bad Thunder was and how Nitro much like Raw today suffered in a 3 hour format.
