I think this has a lot to do with the current lawsuit against them about items purchase with real cash to vc not transferring to other iterations of the game. Fortnite and Call of Duty are examples of letting players transfer purchases to new iterations of their games.

Everything getting too toxic (I don't like the city) that's one of the downfalls in my opinion. Why have this huge area and tons of stuff going on when all I want to do is Play Ball w/out bad servers,toxic randoms, Nerfed builds, Micro transactions (WTF), Banned when you want to leave a game (B/c your put up against the Globe Trotters and i'm w/Phil from accounting) No Bueno. I rarely have server issue, sounds like modem/router performance on your end to be honest. Your only other problem with the game sounds like the people that play it, and not the game. What exactly you expecting 2k to do about that? Ranked system of some kind with fewer game options is the only way, so you can't have it all
they shut down servers of older versions of the game in hopes that those players will gravitate to newer versions of the game, this is shady and scummy for a company to do, they will delete anything you bought just to make money.

The 2k shoes thing been an issue since 2k21, I bought about 50k worth of customs one day they disappeared & 2k basically said they couldn’t do anything about it because I didn’t have proof of purchase.
The opt out is only for the arbitration part tho right? So regardless out virtual items don’t belong to us..just wanted to make sure that was specified so nobody gets the wrong idea

It is actually pretty simple (myself included): 1. Stop playing 2k and then something will change 2. Need a 2nd publisher for basketball game and things should change (no competition)
This stuff is why I'm glad I still play my modded 2K13 over the current 2K games. I get all the classic content of the Eras mode using PatTheHead's mod without giving 2K another dime. Can also roster edit with Red MC and create anything I want.

I have my letter ready to go but ik it says “within 30 days of the date that you first accept this Agreement” so to my understanding you accept the agreement then you send your letter of objections. But I’ve seen people already put dates as of February 2nd and so forth does that mean they’ll still accept the letter because technically the new tos hasn’t been signed or am I not understanding this whole thing as in I’m sending this letter Monday so it goes in the mail for sure and it’s for this current TOS and future plans?

Their sales also could be down because of how rep resets when you make a new build. That was a bad money making move by 2k. People buying less builds

Back in 2k17 it still cost like at around 150k to get to an 86 but everything else was cheaper and it was wayyyyyy easier to get vc
Game speed doubled and you go 2-5k every two or three games no need to spend money that was the prime

Signing a T.O.S agreement at the beginning of 2k24 & then signing another one a few months into the game.. all because people are taking you to court over YOUR GREEDY PRACTICES, is Illegal., this will be my last year playing 2K. Because I'm not signing their agreement.

I mean i actually deleted a build and changed my mind and 2k gave it back to me with no issue and was really helpful about it. Idk. Regardless of the TOS i might just mess w other games..its just getting boring
2k has deleted my builds before it was when i was dumb and spent money on my builds and they just delete it without your knowledge or anything
EA would make one NBA live that would make 2K irrelevant, and then make it copy and paste for a decade.
Free purchases like making the game free in the store is what shot up the game sales. Plus people that just got it free are going to execute micro transactions because they saved not buying the game early

i had a problem with 2k23 where it wouldn't let me play anything for months i grinded my character in my career got him decent never bought vc tried to play rec it would kick within 2 min everytime untill i bought vc then everything worked perfectly fine im not joking

So just to make sure I’m on the right page with everything. You sign the new TOS then send your paperwork with the date or send the paperwork before you sign so by the time you sign it should reach them in the mail?
Can anyone confirm please!? I have my letter ready to go but ik it says “within 30 days of the date that you first accept this Agreement” so to my understanding you accept the agreement then you send your letter of objections. But I’ve seen people already put dates as of February 2nd and so forth does that mean they’ll still accept the letter because technically the new tos hasn’t been signed or am I not understanding this whole thing as in I’m sending this letter Monday so it goes in the mail for sure and it’s for this current TOS and future plans?

How it seems with the 30 day opt out situation though, because 2k basically does what they want with these T&C’s, if you opt out and give 30 day notice, they got that time to do whatever to your account anyway??
