Heard amfilm has melted. -Do I have to wait for any protector to sit before playing again (melt)? -Does it also fit in the dock perfectly; no snug issues as it's not hitting the 2 lines in the front dock? It's that 2 days now idk as I got 2 small white marks on the switch black border as it's not noticeable.
I live in Louisiana where we have really hot summers and left my switch in the car and it stayed. I’d always suggest doing your best to not let the switch and protector get hit just as basic safety but you shouldn’t have any problems. So long as you don’t touch the protector you should always be fine but it’s up to your discretion. Fits perfectly in dock! The film protector is thin enough to be easily put in and taken out of the dock without rubbing.
Hey so my switch just got like four annoying scratches and I’m going to be getting this screen protector. Will the scratches be evident they’re there after I put the screen protector on? Or should I find a way to try and get the scratches off.
I would find another tutorial for that as I do not have experience removing scratches. If the scratches are evident now, I do know they will be evident after placing the protector as the protector allows the screen to be completely visible.
My first attempt had problems as well. I suggest making sure the top is placed evenly and correctly. Once the top is placed, use an item with a hard straight edge to rub the rest of the screen down. if you notice any bubbles while you are rubbing it then lift the screen back up just enough to release the bubble and rub it down again. That should not affect the adhesive quality if done before the full placement of the protector. That is the only other help I can offer without being there. Hope that helps!
