I am glad Nintedo is finally making good Mario Party games again,the only complain i have is that they remove characters like Diddy kong and Dry bones but other than that this game is awesome

This game's existence kind of bums me out because it looks so good but I no longer have anyone to play couch multiplayer games with. Back in the day, my friends and I played the heck out of the first 8 Mario Parties. After that, we became adults and the subsequent games didn't look as fun anyways. But this looks like an amazing return to form--I almost want to buy it just to play solo.
Doesn't this one have online play finally though? If you have online friends could do a discord call or something and play online.
i’m pretty sure you can play online with strangers (i might be wrong)

Super Mario Party doesn't feel like a mainline Mario Party. It feels like it is even more of a spin-off than 9 and 10.
I find it strange that Jamboree is keeping that title while returning to the "true" Mario Party format. However, despite the strange title, it looks like Jamboree is shaping up to be the best Mario Party since the GameCube era.
Well I wasn’t convinced but now i definitely am! Looks like a huge improvement from Super Mario Party (2018)

I hope that you can still get peach as a buddy even if you are playing as peach(I main peach in mario party) also it would be nice if you had the option for classic or remake music for Mario's Rainbow Castle and Western Land.

I beat the story mode of Jamboree yesterday. Was kinda a neat idea. Thankfully not as frustrating as some of the other story modes in the series.
Your pronunciation of Koopathalon makes me laugh every time I hear it. The way you say it would make one think it’s spelled Kooplathon.
Should be a fun game for all, and I appreciate the coverage you’ve done up to this point. Watching the gameplay leaks though, there are definitely some absolute time-consuming dud mini-games in here, but if my niece is happy, I’ll be happy.

One thing I dislike about the modern mario party games is the plastic-y art style. Everything just looks so shiny for no reason. Look at Daisy's hair or DK's fur, Daisy's hair especially. It looks like a lego piece. Or the rocks on Goomba Lagoon. Obviously a minor complaint, but one I'm surprised they haven't changed after three entries.
Yea there was some grundge and grit to the 64 era

Ngl the game looks good, but I already own 2 Mario parties on the switch so I’ll probably hold off on this one. I wish they just saved this for the switch 2 tbh, would’ve justified the purchase a little bit more imo
What are the online capabilities for playing Bowser’s Kaboom Squad and Kooplathon with your friends? Can you with your friends against randoms, or can you only queue with up to four friends against bots in both modes?

But what about the economy? That is my biggest concern about the game and seeing two people with 40 coins on turn 2 at 2:17 does not ease my mind regarding that.
It seems like it’s going to be very similar to superstars in that regard
If you win 2 minigames and land on 2 blue spaces, that's 36 coins already, plus battle games exist, so that isn't that surprising, but everyone having 40 or so at turn 2, yeah.
The board is the shopping mall board. From what I understand, that board is one where gaining coins is a feature because it wants to create the buzz of a lively shopping mall. Essentially, it may be an outlier to consider at this time.
This also with the chance that the group might have gotten lucky with their mini game selection. It maybe was a bonus coin game where collected coins could be gathered.
The Party mode (boards) includes only 65 minigames from the 112 minigames 😔🙄 almost half!! And thats with motion controls.... Without motion they only include 50 minigames 🤦... Bummer 👁️👄👁️
Love the pro mode but wish you could have all the mini-games playable in that mode regardless if they have a luck aspect.
Then it wouldn’t be a JUST game of skill then 🤦🏾♂️
@@dariussharp5790 It's a board game with dice. There is always going to be luck involved. I just don't want even less mini-games than there already will be since many of them are exclusive to other game modes.

There's a classic bonus star option like Superstars, but it doesn't have the minigame star oddly. Just Rich and Event star

I just hope that the new bonus star system isn't default again with the option for classic system being quite hidden. This really annoyed me in superstars as I wasn't able to find any people in the classic system queue.
Unpopular opinion: they should bring back the rare items and game guy from Mario party 3.
I briefly played the previous 2 games but I felt like the games just got old too quickly and always had to rely on having others locally to play them
Everyones complaining about Diddy dry bones and hammer bro while my only complaint is too many lucky spaces.

With what was said at 5:14 and 6:37 , I have a question : can you play with as an online group of 5+ players to either gamemode ?
I remember reading on the website that yes, you can go online as a group of 8 max to play either Kaboom Squad or Koopathlon.

While I can imagine that this is a fun game, the two Mario Party games already on Switch kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. They could have easily scheduled in some DLC for these games, and they didn't. They felt incomplete to me.

That’s true but not everyone has enough coins to keep buying a golden pipe plus the star, which is about 45 coins
