    🎣 REEL MAINTENANCE IMPORTANCE:
Keeping your Daiwa Tatula reel properly lubricated is crucial for optimal performance and durability. Regular oiling reduces friction, prevents corrosion, and ensures all the internal components work harmoniously, giving you a smooth and enjoyable fishing experience.
    🧰 TOOLS AND MATERIALS:
•Reel Oil (High-quality, specifically designed for fishing reels)
•Reel Grease (Optional, for specific parts that require more lubrication)
    •Microfiber Cloth or Cotton Swabs
•Small Screwdriver Set (if required for reel disassembly)
    🔧 REEL MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE:
For optimal performance, we recommend oiling your Daiwa Tatula reel after every 20 to 30 hours of use or at least once a season. However, if you fish in harsh conditions or notice any decrease in performance, it's essential to oil the reel more frequently.

I’ll put a small piece of tape on my spool to keep the line from unraveling. Great video thanks!

I do this about every 5th outing. About once a month I take the gear cover off and check the grease and oil the shaft bearings, too. I also hit my line guide and pawl with oil every 5th. If it’s gummy, I’ll use a q-tip and alcohol to clean it. Good video. 🤘

You probably could on the spool itself and a couple drops on the bearings

As long as it’s not penetrating oil (oil with a mild solvent)
