Dude I put a max19 g2 140amp in my losi DBpro instead of the stock 130a and it cogs like CRAZY on the stock sensorless motor??? It says it should operate fine in the manual and from HW themselves? Changing settings doesn’t do much to help either
@@thatrcguy26 the max10 g2 140a is 2-4s but I was running 3s. Stock losi dbpro 3s gearing, think it’s 15t pinion. Didn’t cog whatsoever on stock esc and the esc advertises itself as a sensored/sensorless system?? ☹️ it’s a beast when it’s moving, eaaaaasily does wheelies even at half speed but doesn’t have the torque to get the car moving??? Something doesn’t add up. The esc is the only thing I changed and it ran like a dream just a couple days ago on a (theoretically) weaker esc
Are you sure motor is fine and not overheat with the new esc? I’d try a smaller pinion first in your case just to confirm that motor temps remains under control! Try 14T or 13T and see if that makes any difference…
@@thatrcguy26 hmm idk the motor seems fine it wasn’t ran hard last time it was out on the old ESC, I Only ran it on 2s and the motor acts fine once the car gets moving. That said with the new ESC I can’t even run it. It cogs so much that you can hardly get it going on its own so it can’t be temps with the new esc either. It runs fine when it’s moving but it’ll sit there and cog for seconds at a time before it moves… on a perfectly flat smooth hard surface
@@thatrcguy26 it doesn't go into programming mode no matter how long I hold it for. It just stays on the calibration bit where you program neutral, forward and reverse.
No. Check the manual that came with your ESC, the setting greyed out are the ones that are preset out of the box! If you want to change them follow this procedure.
Thanks for explaining it so well so that its very easy to understand. Helped me a lot
Super helpful vid! Never knew you could do this, and I was looking to adjust the punch level on my 16BL30 without a programming card!
Thank you!! The long beep was confusing the hell out of me.
It's working with my 25 amps Hobbywing :-D
Really helpful instruction . Thanks 👍
Thanks, greets from the netherlands
Thank you! So helpful.
Thank you this is very helpful
Saved my day. Thank u so much :D
That’s so easy my redcat volcano has the same esc but lower amps
My brother just got a WP 10BL120 system for his Slash and we need to fix the settings cause it’s really slow. Hopefully this works
Awesome!! Thanks heaps 🤙
Where did u learn this from. Wow

Are you using 6s or 4s? What size pinion on the stock setup currently?

Then something is definately wrong with the new ESC…
How to reset back to factory setting?
You will need to follow the percentage greyed out on the ESC manual. They are the factory settings.
@@thatrcguy26 u mean one by one also?
@@Triple4Motovlog yes brother. Do it one by one.
@@thatrcguy26 thanks for the info hope it works also on my esc. Now cogging not enjoy to play
What if you don’t have a reset button on esc do you just take the motor compartments out and plug battery in and do same set up as this
Every ESC come with on/off switch. Some have seperate Reset and some works with long pressing the On/off only.
@@thatrcguy26 on the deerc 300E 25a brushless esc
@@thatrcguy26 how do you do it in this model
There’s a small set button next to on/off which I used for changing settings.
@@thatrcguy26 I don’t have that on the 300e brushless deerc
Wow
does it work on the hobbywing fusion?
I’m using a Hobbywing ESC for demo so I beleive it should work.
doesn't seem it does
Mine just goes into calibration mode? Anyone know what im doing wrong?
It’s normal. Are you able to move on to choose any specific setting?

Are you using the same dumbo TX and RX? And what about the ESC?
@@thatrcguy26 hey dude I ended up buying a programming card and got it to work. Thank you though
Did you have to program it wen first installed
