After checking out the tips here, I started using littlexttaa hair growth serum daily and washing it off with cocoonioon shampoo two times a week. Doing this together gave me new hair in just 48 days.
My dermatologist also recommended the reaactivaate growth serum, and I’m thankful I acted on that recommendation because it has made me see new hair growth at last
There's only two things I concentrated on and it worked for me to grow back my hair: 1. Reducing the factors that cause hair fall like anxiety, fried and spicy food, smoking. 2. Boosting the factors that cause hair growth like adding Coco Onion oil and shampoo, using reactivate hair growth serum of litlleextra, drinking enough water, fresh fruits, and vegetables.. What ever the reason there is always a solution to grow your hair. Just remain confident and don’t stress over it.
Absolutely, Reactivate serum works effectively; it genuinely works very well and delivers the desired results. However, one must remember is that you have to wait and give time to get the results. Achieving results takes time and typically takes around 3 to 4 months to see visible results. But honestly speaking, it's really affect.
i reduced the frequency of my hair washes to 2 to 3 times a week. i apply the reactivaate serum daily and wash it off with plain water after 10 hours. i use the coconioon shampoo and the conditioner of litttllextra twice a week. i make sure to get 8 hours of sleep daily and have reduced stress. this has worked in my favor, resulting in no hair fall and increased hair growth.
Hi I am from India and your trick to apply coconut oil on ends is something we indians follow since v long..our acncestors have taught us to always apply oil on scalp and ends infact massage it a night keep it overnight and cleansing the next morning..well cleansing it does take atleast 2 washes as its not easy to take out that oil..but it protects hair so good and helps against hairfall and promotes hair growth too..we use combination of oils like coconut bringadi amla mulethi (lots of aurvedic herbs). Hope it helps someone ❤
I fell into the trap of trying to “train” my scalp to produce less oil. That was years ago and my derm and I are still trying to calm the seb derm flare that caused
I noticed that after going to a hairstylist my hair does not get oily on the day 2, compared to me washing my hair at home, so I decided to look more into hair care. Thank you for your video, it was helpful!
This is one of the best videos I've found for my specific problem. I have natural wavy hair and my hair gets oily after 2 days. but in the same time I have dry ends. I have also some hair fall hoping that the amount of loss is normal. The problem is that I live in southeast asia and it's pretty hard to find products for my specific hair type, and affordable.
I struggle with scalp psoriasis or eczema or seborrheic dermatitis. Not really sure which one since I don’t have access to a dermatologist but my scalp can get pretty bad. The routine I’ve found to get it mostly under control is washing my hair every day or minimum every other day. I do a rinse of white vinegar diluted with water and let that marinate my scalp while I do other shower stuff then I do shampoo and conditioner. I also need to somewhat regularly oil my scalp. When I do those things consistently and don’t drink too much alcohol days in a row then my scalp is almost fully clear. But it’s really embarrassing and exhausting dealing with this sometimes. I have to be really consistent with this routine because If I make too many mistakes I have to wear hats in public or just not go in public. It hasn’t been this bad in a really long time but I used to scratch it like crazy sometimes and I would pick at the big plaques and my scalp would even ooze sometimes. It was a painful time. I’m glad I’ve found a way to get it much more under control.
Good job finding what you needed! I had issues when I was younger with thick skin flakes and the aweful itching. I don't know what changed but my skin is super different now. Sooo crazy oily.
This last year my stylist had me try a new routine for my thin, naturally blonde, 2A curl hair. I use a gentle shampoo, a leave-in conditioner and mousse combo, plus a touch of hair oil on the ends. I wash daily and this combo has brought out the beautiful qualities in my hair. I stopped heat styling and that has made a huge difference in my oil, too. I will be adding a clarifying shampoo. Thank you!
This was so helpful! I'm 58 but my scalp still seems to be fairly oily. My mom had oily skin and hair too so maybe I need to shampoo more frequently. I kept thinking I was damaging my hair by shampooing often but I seem to need it. Thank you!!
This was so informative. I liked how you explained all the reasons behind how those shampoos are the go to and also showed inexpensive options. Definitely trying them out.
as someone with fine hair, not damaged hair btw,i need silicons, without them my hair breaks, oils are even heavier,so silicon free products are not good for fine hair, thats my experience
Thank you so much! I have been battling for the last few months trying to 'train' my hair to not need washing every day and it just hasn't worked and I now have build up on my scalp and little thickened spots which I hadn't had in years. So many people advise not to wash every day e.g. Blowout Professor, and I thought if I persevered I would 'get there in the end' which just has NOT happened! Would you be kind enough to do a video on conditioners to use on oily hair? I am now so paranoid about adding too much conditioner that I can end up with fly away hair and it is truly a vicious circle. Thank you for giving me the permission and confidence to wash my hair every day as I always had done until three months ago. My scalp has never been so bad so I have had to admit defeat on any 'training'!
I saw him too and bought all the redkens shampoo conditioner etc. I‘m just so oily it didn‘t work, my scalp was still oily and my ends were dry, and if I go longer than 2 days, I‘d get itchy bumps on my scalp. Switched to normal drugstore shampoo and conditioner (garnier one with oat) and I use a pump of kerastase cicaplasme for heat protection before blow drying. Sometimes I also use La roche posay effaclar medicated face wash with LHA and salicylic acid to wash my hair and it always feels so airy after. Whilst I do still need to wash my hair everyday, at least it doesn‘t itch and the ends aren‘t dry.
@@cahyaparamita5711 Oh no! That's a shame spending money on the products and them not working 😬which happens so much doesn't it? I have made a note of the products you mention and will look into those - thanks for the tips! I've found pretty much every heat protector I've bought is so heavy and having fine, thinning poker straight hair - that is an unforgiving combo! I am in the UK and bought a salicylic acid prewash liquid exfoliant from a drugstore we have called Boots and I will give that a go too. The struggle is real isn't it?!
I am the target audience for this video, and I have been using the OGX one for a while. Very happy with it :) I also recommend looking at local/natural shampoo bars that don't leave a residue (NOT Lush!). I was able to find a shampoo bar local to me that's gentle on my hair :)
I don't agree. I feel like OGX made my hair fall more and didn't clean the oils in my hair. But if it works for you, I'm glad! Just for me it didn't work
I tried that first aid beauty dandruff shampoo after you recommended it in a previous video and it’s really working well for me! I also do want to try a salicylic acid shampoo from Neutrogena but I’m not sure which one to try adding in, especially as I can’t stand a lot of fragrance.
FWIW, if you’re willing to use a serum, the Inkey List has a salicylic acid scalp serum that is fragrance free. I used to use T-Sal to deal with my oily scalp, and I found that I preferred the IL serum. It was easier to apply directly to the scalp without getting the salicylic acid on as much hair
Hey... I'm 20 years old and I have oily scalp as well as dandruff. My scalp becomes oily the next day after washing my hair.So i only wash my hair twice a week..can you please suggest me affordable shampoo which i can use twice a week as I don't want wash my hair everyday. 1)One question ❓ How to determine my hair type? I can't figure out whether it's normal or dry.My hair is virgin,i don't use styling tools at all.. please suggest a good conditioner also. 2)is it necessary to give oil massage to our scalp to promote hair growth ❓ 3)if yes then which type of oil should I use❓ please recommend
so i bought the necessaire shampoo and i honestly really like how gentle it is, but i feel like it hasn’t helped with the oiliness. so i’ve had two showers already with it, so yeah not much but i feel like it’s getting oiler quicker now then the shampoo i had before. i actually washed my hair last night and its the day after and it already looks like it’s starting to get oily. i used to be able to wash my hair every other day with my old shampoo but it seems like im going to have to use this one more often. i know she said that these are for everyday use but i was hoping that this didn’t have to be the case since my other shampoo was actually deep hydrating one, meaning it would get oiler fast since i didn’t need all that moisture but it seems like that one might’ve worked better. let me know if anyone else got this issue
Interesting. I have thick, oily hair that is easily weighed down. I notice my hair has more volume and looks better when I wash once every few days, but looks flat and weighed down when I wash more frequently.
Most anti-dandruff shampoos contain silicones, and that, as you mention is not recommended for oily scalp .Can you recommend of any silicone-free ones?
I tried putting coconut oil middle to ends, but when I tried to blow dry it was still too oily. I only use shampoo on my scalp, should I use it in my hair when I use coconut oil or how I can rinse it out?
I’m so confused now. So are you supposed to use gentle shampoo, clarifying shampoo, and anti dandruff shampoo all in the same week if you tend to get dandruff?
I stopped dying my hair 5 months ago and gray here is growing out and my hair is oily now, ive never had an oily scalp before, I will try one of these shampoos to see if it will help
With Trader Joe’s dry shampoo at the end of day 1, I only wash my hair every 3-4 days. Other shampoos are useless. I tried them all. Most useful were shampoos containing nettle but only with a slight difference.
Thanks. In General does your scalp feel greasy right away after washing where you need to shampoo more frequently to keep it clean? In General dandruff is associated with more greasy scalp
@@Duxbury_Skin then it's not oily. People with oily scalps need to wash their hair every day or every other day at MAX. If it takes your hair 2 to 3 days to get oily you have more balanced hair.
Hi, I’m a man with oily scalp and fine straight hair who has never treated his hair in anyway or even colored it, I usually get some scalp acne I guess from the excess of sebum. So should I use the briogeo, ouai “fine hair” or the necessaire? I don’t think my scalp is sensitive. And should I buy only shampoo or conditioner too? (I have never used conditioner in my life) Thank you and nice video 👍
I never had a problem with oily hair until recently now my hair gets greasy fast I’m not sure whats going on! But im 35 so im thinking my age is making it this way!
Thank you for this video. About clarifying shampoo, I have raplaced it with gentle scalp exfoliation which can be used 1-2 times per week or even once a month, if you feel so. Right way and amount used it wont strip my oils off, but does cleanse my whole scalp completly by using with normal oil balance shampoo wich I normally use. Those shampoo bottles are tricky, because you have to use them by 6-12 months after opening and imagine yourself owning that 250ml bottle of clarifying shampoo that you use only once a week or once a month. It would last me for nearly 2 years. I find boring conditionering, but I will do it, because it helps my dry ends and strands. 😅 But I love more masks, because they smell like dessert and my ends love it more than conditionering. But together they're match in heaven.
What if my scalp feels tight, tingly/ dry but my hair gets oily already bext day? I don't think I have flakes when my scalp feels dry. Only if I end up with oily hair for 4 days, maybe then I would have some flakes
Im trying to find a good shampoo for my 5 year old. She has straight hair and I noticed when I wash her hair with her current shampoo it feels oily. After her hair is fully dry it still feels that way. There has been times where she mentions that her head feels itchy. So would you recommend a gentle clarifying shampoo twice a day? I have full wavy hair completely different from her hair. So im trying to learn how to take care of her straight hair. Maybe im overly moisturizing her hair?
I’m currently using Ouai fine hair shampoo I bought a few months ago and just found out that IT DOES CONTAIN Propoxytetramethyl Piperidinyl Dimethicone. Can you please tell more about that ingredient?
