I still have my old,first helmet .Still use it from time to time.
Ones you get use to the Jackson head gear you want use nothing else to me my opinion Jackson is the best I weld 10 1/2 hr a day I use the Jackson BH3 with balter technology

Had this good and traded it in for a sentinel esab and the Jackson was a way better hood. Wished I didn’t do that.
The first hood did you have any glare problems?
I have a similar one and it didn’t have any glare or double vision
