I don't know why but now Nepal gets the cars before india. The bikes too arrive earlier than India. This bike has been in Nepal for 2 years now. The Hyundai Kona and ioniq has also been launched here. The panigale v4 was also launched earlier and now we also have the benelli 302s which actually I just saw today on the road. I think Nepal has become like a testing site for manufacturers. What are your thoughts
This motorcycle will be such a sweet upgrade for an Indian middle-class guy on a 300cc now if Benelli strengthens up their service quality across the county. Great job Powerdrift 😊, especially for covering the cons along with the pros 😊
I will never recommend a Benelli to average Indian brothers.. monopoly of spare parts, high labour costs and below average service centre expertise doesn't help average or the common men here in India who dream of owning such bikes. Benelli service centre fails the brand. No Quality at ground level.
True, I own a classic 350 since 2016 and decided to go for trk 502 as in this price range there is no better bike. Ppl would say spend 2 lac or 3 lac more to get versys 650 or CB500x but I don't want to spend anything more than 5 lac on bikes. Again TRK is worth an upgrade for anyone having less than 500cc bikes and definitely not in competition with versys 650 or 500X. Also this machine is not for beginners at all, I would recommend this to intermediate champs.
Multistrada from the front. Tiger from the back. Overweight and underpowered in the competition yet the pricing is what makes this a good deal. One thing Benelli does good is make characterful motorcycles for the accessible market. Proud owner of a 600i 👌
This is what i would call a honest review , loved the intro section about the impulse and Himalayan , Seems like Varun was freely speaking his mind , was really missing such videos from powerdrift

Entertaining review once again! The fantastic exhaust note is due to a 360° crank. The confusion between selecting Versys 650 and TRK would be easier if they'd launched the TRK502 @₹4.5 lakhs and 502X @₹4.99 lakhs. This would've easily brought the on road pricing difference easily by more than ₹2 lakhs, and the Benelli could've made more sense. Currently it's a slippery slope at this price and Versys still has the upper hand I believe in terms of reliability and resale value. Also the kerb weight is actually 210 kgs for TRK 502 and 502X, found in international official websites. Still heavy in my books for a 500cc twin adv. The weight of 235 kgs is when fully accesorised and loaded with panniers and top box. Cheers!
It's not versys, it's the vstorm which is going to be bang for the buck. Vstorm gets spoke wheels with tubeless tyre setup and has ample amount of power
I checked my garage, and I have a motorcycle & I know any motorcycle can be a adventure/touring motorcycle. Whats better, I know the bike since long so mechanical problems can be well taken care of. and icing over the cake is I don't need to shell out from my travelling budget to buy such a heavy scary machine which is way too heavy for proper off roading with a smaller engine relative to its weight. Hell I can't believe burning my pocket buying and dropping such a big expensive bike which is expensive to maintain all thanks to benelli India with its very expensive maintenance and spare parts. The idea of adventure is just to enjoy being on road and travelling as much and as far with the budget we have. This can be done any practically any motorcycle you have even scooters do for that matter, as long as you are familiar with your bike and you can handle the bike pretty well.. That's priceless
you guys should talk with you video editors/ the persons who are responsible those excess background sound effect. These sounds so excess that I couldn't able hear sound of the bike when you 1st start the bike.

I had invested 3 + years on a Benelli - Now i can say it falls apart due to incompetent technicians not enough expertise. We invest so much money and time and what we get is below average service quality from Benelli India. I love your videos PD. Benelli are lovely bikes - BUT as per my experience it cant even match TVS service centres.

That's why we watch zigwheels and the others,to get the specifications. We watch PowerDrift because it makes the entire thing poetic. A new concept every time. The rc200 review, the beautiful Daytona 675 review and the magnificent versus 650 review. Powerdrift makes poetry in motion. That's your roots. Yes, sarge is gone. But powerdrift is bigger than sarge. It was the magnificent editing, the concept of a video, the soundtrack and the host's energy. Varun is doing his best. Don't let him down,please. considering the reliability of benelli, we don't know how well it'll justify the price it asks, maybe it is cheaper, but that 230kg weight with a 500cc parallel twin seems a bit less. And speaking of adv's duke 390 adv might heat up the non existing adv segment of single cylinders. Waiting for that.

I think they are spot on with the pricing. They are many who actually do not do adventure touring but wants a tourer look and that model will cator those. For enthusiast a separate version with more gizmos certainly more pricing. I think this is good approach.

This is not a wise choice as per my research.Benneli cannot offer the reliability as Japanese brands offer.

It became terrible when DSK packed their bags and bid adieu. But the service centres are running again and they have been extremely helpful 👌
True review, even the tnt300 weighs more than an royal enfield. It was sold for the sound.
