Overlord is one of the closest D&D themed anime I have ever seen. I really hope we get more stories in the world separate or loosely connected too the main events.
What about goblin slayer? Besides goblin slayer himself, every other character is basically just named their race and class. Granted, with how he is, goblin slayer might just be a class all its own.

The Sorcerer's Kingdom got the most powerful treasures of theocracy: Sorshana's weapon, the shield of the wind god, and their strongest fighting force, which knows all the secrets of theocracy, is under captivity. Now they can get all the information and secrets about theocracy, the six gods, and even the Dragon Lords, and maybe Zenshi will tell them where [Fall of Castle and Country] By blackmailing Zhichi into killing all the inhabitants of the Theocracy so that she would reveal all the secrets to them and perhaps they could recruit her under the command of Shalletear or Albedo, however without her weapons she is nothing and she knows that so she will not do such a foolish thing as not to join the Sorcerous Kingdom until she spares her life Volume 17 will be one of the best volumes in the series 🔥
Even by nazrick stander she is really valuable not only haveing the fighting power to toe with drangon lord also having greed king blood also the the 6 great gods
Hopefully down the line she becomes subordinate of the twins perhaps, well one can hope as her design was awesome and would have lived to seen more of her.
If Ainz can look past his present wrath at ST, there's a chance his collector's spirit might just break through his anger and see him choose to spare the admittedly rare elf that just fell into his hand, much like a certain Albino Lizardwoman. It might also help that Ainz has pawed through her memories and, slim as the chance is, find some reason to take a little pity on her. Though more likely she's in for a horrible fate. Well there is one even more slim possibility that Mare might speak up on her behalf, if only because he seemed impressed that she somehow survived Petty Catastrophe despite the beating he'd already dealt her beforehand.

I think Maruyama changed her personality too much on purpose, so I'm going with the suffering route, because he's an ass that wants the fans to suffer for liking a likable character.

Am I the only one who thinks Zesshi's story/personality got soft-retconned in the latests volumes? The obsession with power expressed in her first appearance is gone and there seems to be a bit of a contradiction with the leaders of the Theocracy saying she was separated from her mother at a young age in previous volumes, if I'm remembering correctly.
Her obsession with power could be a red herring; she wants to meet (and breed with) someone more powerful than her, as a twisted way of expressing a desire for companionship. No-one else wants to be around her, after all.
I get the sense it was just a cover to hide her true feelings on the matter. Besides this show is already filled with thirsty horny women, so it was a pleasant surprise to find there was more depth and personality to her than just "I want that strong guy D. so bad"
