      @@JRobsonGuitar thx John. You are a great inspiration for many sleepy guitarists to pick up the guitar and enjoy making music again.

    As a newbie guitarist, I say yes to trying out all the flavours in the pedal rainbow. You will hear the sound you're looking for! (um, remember to sell the pedals you don't use so you can keep looking!)

      sometimes you dont appreciate how good a pedal is untill after you sold it

    Lots of options here with the Baatsin. I always think of the 'yellow Boss' as the SD-1 I used in the 80-90s, basically the OD-1 with a tone control. These days I just use the amp's gain and skip any OD, since I don't need to foot control the signal chain now. But these pedal reviews are still tons of fun to watch, especially with so many great, affordable choices.

    Basically a multi TS variant pedal with a couple exceptions (Timmy and OCD are modded variants of TS topology while the OD-1 inspired the TS).

    Very Cool, Thankyou. Awesome sounding Pedal with alot of options, The B Boost sounds great as do the other options. I have a Joyo Compressor/ Sustainer Pedal and A Joyo Vintage Overdrive Pedal, Both are SO Amazing pedals that combine to give me one of my favorite overdriven Tones. Nice Work Edwin and John. Cheers

    Not bad for 50. I have a BOSS ME 25 multi effects processor. Does all the meats and gravy too.

    What a versatile pedal that is. Would be interesting to hear how much background hum/noise it puts out at gig volume

    could you do a video about treble booters?

    Is it me or do they all have the same grind factor but with different variations of mid boost to mid reduction and a slight increase in gain?
    The Riot stood out the most, but it could have been because of the pinch harmonics.

    At first glance I thought it said Volume, Tone and Grin!

    OC-Drive must be a copy of the Fulltone OCD drive pedal.

    The Joyo Sweet Baby is a clone of the Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive.

    You should have given it a totally clean base sound. All of them sound like boosted tones of your base tone. This video gets a fail.

    • @JRobsonGuitar
      @JRobsonGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe you are unaware that many guitar players use drive pedals to do exactly what you lambast me for... Adding more "push" to an already slightly driven tone. Gary Moore used a Guvnor to turn his already cooking JTM45 into a fire breathing monster. Similarly, Kirk Hammett used a TS9 Tube Screamer in the same way all over the Black album. Jeff Beck used a Klon in that way too. The list of players who use a pedal like this into an already overdriven amp is like a "Who's Who" of guitar royalty. That's why I did the video this way. Apologies for the confusion.

    • @JamesScott-kg7rk
      @JamesScott-kg7rk ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JRobsonGuitar I am perfectly aware but you still failed. All the tones sounded like boosted versions of your main tone. It is silly to review a pedal and not show what it can do. Your video is a fail. Suck it up.
