May wasn't as good for pick up's as April was but I still added some really awesome games to my collection!
I got to check out Retrofunk in Midland Texas and Where in the World... Did you find that? Antique mall in Airdie Alberta. I scored some really fun games, some not so great games, and some that tugged at my nostalgic heart strings!

That's a clean looking NP! I recently picked up #7, Mega Man 2 on the cover, with a huge spread about it. What got me is all the work that went into every page. So visually interesting. Might be my favorite issue, for my favorite NES game.
Never played Dave Mirra on GBC, but I owned THPS2 on it. Played the hell out of it with that damn worm light on in the dark. I had great fun with it, and the music's burned into memory. But looking at it now, it's so very limited being fully 2D side scrolling. I have the GBA ones, I hear those are great, but I haven't played them.
DKC3 is regarded as the weakest entry, but it's still super good. I love all 3. Not a big fan of the reboot on Wii and Wii U.
That’s awesome!! They are really cool once you really start looking at them and how much they put into making them awesome! That sounds like a super cool issue that I’ll have to keep an eye out for!
THPS series is epic, I spent waaaay too much time on some of those games! I’ll have to track down some of the hand held versions of those next! That’s awesome you enjoyed the GBC THPS2!
It’s pretty good when even the weakest game in a series on a console is still pretty good! I’m excited to play them through! I haven’t played the Wii or Wii U versions but it doesn’t sound like I’m missing out then 😂
Great additions to the collection! I recently picked up Ikari Warriors 3 to finish the trilogy. It's a little harder to find than the first two. Shadow of the Ninja and Gargoyles Quest 2 are both very high up on my wanted list so excellent choices in my opinion. Just purchased a clean copy of Lone Ranger for NES. Can't wait for it to be delivered and can't wait for the next video! Best wishes!

didnt realize and thought it was a pal exclusive but i got blue shadow (euro title) aka shadow of the ninja on nes here in USA, got a while back I use to snag pal exclusive nes games from a online source until they stopped taking USA orders, still mad about that one..get alternate art games and pal exclusives etc never did get contra yet over there the "robot" version gotta add that to my collection
Nice that's cool. I have a store locally here that's big into imports. I'll see if he does pal stuff, who knows he might have Contra!

Awesome pickups! I'm not too familiar with the nes bc I didn't have one as a kid but I remember playing bubble bobble a lot at my cousins house. It's great seeing those old Nintendo power magazines! I miss the era of gaming magazines. I was very disappointed with spawn as a kid thinking it was gonna be awesome bc its spawn and it ends up being a very generic beatem up that wasn't very good. I've never played donkey kong country 3 but I love the first two. Hope you're having a good weekend

In Bump n Jump, if you can manage to finish a level without crashing a single car you get a big amount of bonus points.
That sounds like a challenge! I'll have to see what I can do but I doubt I have that kind of driving skills!
Easiest to do it on the first 2 levels. Go slow and only speed up when you have to jump.
