Great songs. Great videos/short film, Codefendants is a great band. The DOC effing killed it. While you're resurrecting great rappers from the time when hip hop was great and not awful, lets get the Codefendants and Trick Daddy collaboration going.
Boom Bap is a style/sub-genre of hip hop characterized by hard-hitting drums, usually containing the kick drum/snare drum/hi-hat combination rather than claps, snaps, TR-808 bass drums, - you have to appreciate the direction it's gone here outstanding little video series I love how 21 pilots does that (a 3 video format) on their uploads.. this is something like the wall or Pink Floyd meshed with punk it's nice
I brought 4 homies to NOFX in Orlando, 3 of which knew a few songs from penny wise/NOFX. Through all my friends fakery, they genuinely loved Codefendants more so than any band/having never hearing of them! *Behind NOFX, they all couldn’t believe how great Codefendants was.
I got my crime wave mixtape in the mail thank you Sammy! I also go the codefendants get dead split. I bought crime wave and it skips on DOCs verse in fast ones 😢
Two of my favorite things ever together. Mikes so eccentric, and MST3K is as well. This is cool, oh, it's the dude from Get Dead, or maybe it is Get Dead, idk.
I'd usually be rather annoyed about all the talking over the music video... but these two have the best back and fourth. Kind of reminds me of Beavis and Butt-Head watching MTV.
