In this tutorial, I’m going to show you about how to easily add a trendline, equation of the line and R2 value to a scatter plot in Microsoft Excel. Additionally, you will also learn how to Generate a Standard Curve and determine Unknown Concentrations in Excel by a Simple Method. Trendlines are easily recognizable lines that traders draw on charts to connect a series of prices together or show some data's best fit. The resulting line is then used to give the trader a good idea of the direction in which an investment's value might move. Trendlines are used to predict possible future trends based on the know values of the past. You can choose any one of these six different trend or regression types: Linear Trendlines, Logarithmic Trendlines, Polynomial Trendlines, Power Trendlines, Exponential Trendlines, or Moving Average Trendlines. I will first demonstrate how to add the Trendline, Equation And R2 In Excel. Finally, I will demonstrate how to edit trendline and regression equation in a bar chart using Microsoft excel 365.
