Its 2023 and Excel has remains extremely deficient in plotting the simplest and most basic of all charts - the xy Chart (Some variations of XY Scatter works but its horrendous and leaves out the label for the X axis.). It always wants to plot x and y as two DIFFERENT series when its ONE series (x,y). Its mind boggling that the folks at microsoft have not grasped the concept of XY Graphs.

thanks - one thing I find odd with excel is that it doesnt auto generate axis labels - this would make its approach to x vs y a lot simpler for novices i feel

Hi great video! How can I plot several Y values for the same X within the same series? I have my X values in a column and three values of Y for each X in the right side columns next to the X column. When I try to plot it it tooks each Y column as an individual series and not as a replicate. Can you help me?
