Yes, that's right. She knew how to take of herself out in the woods. She also knew how to handle unwanted advances in the "love tunnel" ride at the fair (Buster and his black eye), haha, lol

A beginning that feels like a dream, the fearful subconscious, then he's plunged out into life itself! The ballon, light and airy takes him towards the woods and eventually to Love! Poetic!👍💟

Two seconds after the dude's legs are shown under the boat as he walks with it, I ask "Where did you get that gun?" as if a magically appearing hunting rifle and later, ukelele, was the weirdest/unbeliveable thing in this film.

I think 🤔 keaton, Chaplin, chase and Harold Lloyd were great in silent movie pictures. When sound was finally added, they became less interesting. However, Laurel and Hardy excelled from silent. Laurel and Hardy, the Marx bro's and Abbott and costello were made for movies with sound. They were unstoppable with the inclusion of sound, laurel and hardy in particular were masters. Out of all the comedians laurel and hardy are my favorite along side with James Finlayson, Edgar Kennedy, Mae busch and Charlie hall

Zac Dior I have to disagree with you on the sound era being bad for Chaplin and Keaton they both had some great work in sound like they did in silent. One of Chaplin’s best films is a sound one “The Great Dictator” and Keaton had some good sound work as well including “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”, and “The Railrodder”. I haven’t seen the beach films he appeared in so I don’t know.

@@jamesmoyner7499 Yes, Buster Keaton still had some good later career moments. He had a fairly funny role in the later Judy Garland film "In the good ol' summertime" (1948 or 1949). And, he had a good self-homage role in 1960 Twilight zone episode where he plays an 1890s guy who travels to the future (1960) and back, and with the 1890s scenes actually being in silent film style. And, Buster repeating a few of his silent film days stunts, a couple in in 1890s scenes and one in 1960 where he walks in front of fat scientist and gets lifted up while putting on his slacks (total homage from him doing the exact same thing with Fatty Arbuckle in one of his 1920s silent films)

I don't know why I get all this fancy 1920 stuff on Chaplin and Keaton every day. TH-cam is obsessed with recommending this old crap and seal rescue videos. I am into war games and game making video, not some fancy-pancy you save me, I save you garbage. I am sick of these ads filled old black/white videos. What does TH-cam think I am, a child born in 1910 to laugh on this outdated rubbish? C'mon.

I got it. Looks like TH-cam is telling me, 'Watch this or shut up', even if I never asked for it, all this China here and China there every day. And when I make a sensible comment about traitors and hypocrites around the world, they then delete my comments. Now I wonder who the hypocrites are. First they recommend the Wion/Grativas videos then they delete the comments. My fault? I no longer get music videos, or Hikvision videos, wildlife videos, etc. It's all China China and fkn China ☹

Just because you don’t get videos that you want doesn’t mean you can be all annoying about it, I have stayed up very late wishing I was alive in these times and actually it would be nice to be born in 1910 because then I could experience the Victorian era. Now stop wining and complaining like a little baby and move on with your life
