The films of Buster Keaton are timeless, so 100 years old is proof of that, in that they still bring in audiences, despite the considerable odds that remain against the communal sharing of the screened film experience (streaming, gaming, & other odd past times that consume people).
Came here from "The Blacksmith" after learning you wrote the score. No lie, sometimes I just put that on in the background, just to hear the music, fr. This one is immediately just as good 😭 pls keep doing these ❤️👏
And will add Angelin that your music will give them the flavor of seeing his films as they seen and heard in theaters and how music complements the film action...as a kid I tended to love the silent comedies by all the greats of that time, but these days it is mostly Buster's films I watch and seek out...
I don't know what happened (on my Android phone) but the film is messed up. Can't see the action at all. Seems like the edge of the film strip is in the middle, so only one edge of it is visible, and none of the story is conveyed. Love the music though! 🙂
THIS IS THE BEST MUSIC SCORE FOR THE FILM 😍😍
Thank you so much for another great score to one of Keaton's masterpieces. You really are a master at capturing a film's spirit!
The music score is so good it stands for itself as an individual piece.
WONDEROUS MUSIC!!!!
There is never a cop around when you need one and here there is a cop on every corner. Great job capturing the spirit of the film and Keaton's work.
Fantastic soundtrack and it fits the film perfectly! Buster would have loved it.
Nicely done! Hard to believe this fine work of film is now a century old.
This music is very beautiful. You have a great talent

Excellent score to an excellent Keaton short. BTW, was that animation at the end there with the elevator? Very inventive.
It's a miniature

What happened to the original music if there was any?
It is to be wondered whether Chaplin saw this film, since both movies have scenes where the protagonists hide out atop a statue behind a veil.

These silent films are funny.
