Quick Attach Forestry Drum Mulcher Maintenance - Sharpening Drum Teeth

Quick video for our current and future customers on how to sharpen the Quick Attach steel drum mulcher teeth. As an operator, we want you to monitor the condition of the teeth as part of your regular machine and attachment inspection. Allowing the teeth to become dull can cause the machine and attachment to work harder to do its job and like debris build up on the air intake screen, this can often lead to the machine's engine, hydro & fuel system to run hotter. These events can often lead to a trouble code being displayed and power to be reduced through the machine's engine management system in order to allow it to "catch it's breath".

Thank you for that tutorial, bro. I just got a new loftness battle ax and me and the dealer were wondering if we could sharpen these teeth. I know I sharpen the knives on my Vermeer BC 1000 brush chipper with a flapper wheel and they seem to last indefinitely. Well, maybe not that long but you know what I mean.
