Our drum is designed to not need the chains as the material is angled out by the design of the inner drum and a bottom reflection plate. We don’t see much material being thrown backwards, it is all directed straight down. The original drum is 72” but there are also plans for a smaller one.

@@otis6791 I know right I could understand it with a chainsaw but I thought these machines were built to do at least a certain amount of groundwork you would think that the Cutting Edge would be up to it
It's because silica is the most common mineral and is in nearly every rock and in the soil. Silica has a greater hardness than steel so thus dulls metal easily.
I hate product presentations where the product comes second or even third behind trying to produce a music video with 50,000 jump cuts where you never get a good look at the machine or what it can actually do 🤬
man would love to own a mulcher like this
Looks great 👍👍👍👍👍🏁🏁🏁🏁
Is there any way to collect the mulch automatically?
how does this work for a stump grinder?

I hope the production model has rear chains. And will it be available in a 60" model?
I agree with they need to make a 60 inch version. I called diamond was told there not going to

I called my dealer today about one. If I buy one I'll put chains on it.
They got a 60” now.
That's it - I need to get me a rough acreage 🌟⭐⭐🤩
I have the 75-2 with high flow do y’all make something compatable for that???
60" drum would work - $31,495 - which would be our standard flow version
@Everyday Excavations The Skid-Steer 72" Drum Mulcher is $34,950
Aqui no Nordeste Brasileiro as árvores são muito duras! Gostaria de saber se essa máquina tritura árvores rígidas?

Why does the stump cutting technique wear the teeth more than other techniques?
Any contact with dirt will dull metal quickly. See it very often when using a chainsaw. Seems odd that dirt will dull it faster than wood.

Show that fancy mulcher in rocky ground...what? It doesn't work in rocks? Who would have thought?
It would turn everything to ashes as the sparks would cause a forrest fire.
