Flathead don't need current. We have monster flathead and good healthy populations of them here in East Tennessee on all of our lakes. Of course we do have rivers with current that they do like, but it doesn't make a difference really.
The chaos flatheads bring is why I love them so much. Such a powerful fish. Awesome video J.

I catch flatheads in a lake in AZ with no current. You never know until you throw.

What is shallow in your waters? I’m assuming the fox river? I fish the ohio and the channel avg’s around 25-30 where i fish.
