Alt editors: Krita is free. Inkscape is a great illustration. You can also used Affinity software which is WAY cheaper than Adobe products and I use them professionally. Great video. Working on using a avatar potentially for my own stuff. Thanks for the walk through! Need more likes and subs!
Hello... I am having trouble with OBS and animaze working in harmony. When I open OBS I can see my camera over the game. When I go fullscreen I can only see my game. The avatar is present because I recorded gameplay and the avatar can be seen. I cannot see it when I am playing a game. Can you help me with this problem?

I tried to give some advice for the lip sync in the "Advanced Tracking For Each model" part of the video. I can't show exact settings because it will very person to person because of things like face shape and how much movement you want. I recommend playing with the settings and sliders in "Overrides", "Select Trackers" and, "Tracker Inputs" options. Moving these sliders while making facial expressions will help to get the look you want. iPhone as I mentioned will give you the best facial tracking you can get, so aside from the sliders that is the best advice I can give. Are you using the new version of the model? I made an edit in the description cause the old one is no longer working. Please use animaze.readyplayer.me/en/avatar website instead of the old mentioned for your Ready player Me Avatars. If that is the version you are using and its still not working let me know it could be that there is not enough lighting in the room for the iPhone or webcam to pickup your movements.

There is an option for the model to move its mouth using only a microphone but it is not super accurate. The model will not move only it’s mouth will based off your audio. The camera does not usually pick up people in the back ground only the person it’s facing but I can totally understand the concern. You could also look into PNG vtubing as an option that does not involve any camera. My brother did this for his little robot. I may make a video on it some day but you can see examples in some of my previous live streams with my brother who looked like a robot. I know Animaze has added direct download for their site recently so that should be the same as steams version. Anything outside of their site or steam I would not trust for safety.
This could be because the virtual camera is off. The the bottom of the screen in Animaze there is a button that says camera or virtual camera (something along those lines) click this and make sure it says recording. This just means the Animaze camera is in now and can be seen by obs. Nothing will actually be recording out of Animaze this way.
As far as I know it does not work on Mac even though most use an iPhone for tracking. I recommend reaching out to Animaze and asking them if there is a timeline as to when a Mac version will be released.

I know an update was released so you can have two avatars but I am unsure how it works as have not been able to try it out yet. From the looks of the site you still may need two computers and join a room together in Animaze. Yes it is the tracking in Animaze. It moves the body (except for hand tracking unless you have the hardware for it or a game controller will work) along with my head movements. I don't have another tracking device besides my iPhone.

I am glad the video helped you out! I did notice that my quality settings had to be adjusted after their last update about two weeks ago. The application started running a little funky, so I turned them down a bit and now the desktop app works much smoother. Possibly running it in administrator mode will make it a priority on your PC and could help as well if the settings adjustment does not work. I hope this helps!
Hey I know it's been while but just incase, I noticed that there is now an option in the Animaze Settings To Run as Priority. Definitely try that if you are still having issues. 😄
I figured out the problem! I had the wrong graphics card as the default for Animaze, when I changed it - everything started working 😅 I used your advice and set up advanced tracking but I stull have one problem with it - when I laugh she opens her mouth way too wide. I tried fixing it with jaw setting but if I do - she stops openning her mouth when I speak. Do you have any advice for that?
@@StoriaGaming Unfortunately the best advice I can give with the sliders for accurate movement is trial and error. It took me a good two weeks or more, of recording my movements while doing things I would do on stream or in videos (head, eye, laughing vs talking movements), then watching it back and then adjusting again. I wish there was a beater way but if you do all that and it still does not work I recommend checking out their discord and asking for help there. Hope this helps you out!
Is there a way to automate this entire flow? I see lot of manual hoops going through 4 softwares. In other words, can you use iPhone pro and convert video stream to avatar stream (hosting these softwares on cloud)?
As far as I know you can not do this, there are only three applications used and they have to connect to each other in the way I showed in the video to work. Two are open on desktop and one app on your phone. If you used a camera or web cam you actually would only use the desktop apps. Example: 1) The iPhone app captures facial movement. 2) Animaze app on desktop controls and houses your Model. 3) OBS is a streaming software (you could use any) used to publish video capture to a streaming platform like TH-cam, Twitch ect. I would recommend asking Animaze by Face Rig your question directly they may know a way to do what you are asking. But from what I have seen and what they have said in articles on their website, this is the only way to use these programs.

20:04 I begin talking about how to add in the Avatar to OBS. In OBS under "device" in the box that opens up make sure "Animaze Virtual Camera" is selected. That should bring up the Animaze view. You also have to make sure that in Animaze the button at the bottom of the screen called "Enable Virtual Camera" is on so your movements are captured.
Animaze devs said they were going to port to Mac a while back but I have not heard anything’s about it in a while. I would recommend reaching out to them directly through discord or other socials to find out if this is still in their plans for the future.
Sorry the steam version did not work for you. You can also download directly from Animaze site, maybe that way will work better. If you are on Mac this may have issues, Animaze was supposed to be working on a Mac version so maybe reaching out through their discord will give more info about that if you use Mac. If steam it’s self is not working that is strange. You do have to make a user account before using steam even if you download the application for PC.
Yes everything I use, I use in this video and it is free. Just make sure the download the newer version of the ready player me model (new links in description) because the older one does not work properly anymore.
Glad it helped you out. The lip sync was really hard to get right for me, I am also picky about it and won’t stop working on something until I am either completely burnt out or think it’s good. I hope you can get it working to your liking! I do find for videos that recording my audio in OBS and Audacity at the same time can help me sync up clips in editing software after. I just delete the audio that sounds worse and keep the good audio. Only issue with that is when OBS acts up and you don’t notice the audio sync can get messed up. For streaming it was a mix of Animaze software itself and OBS latency on my mic in OBS software. Syncing lip movement is trial and error though. 😅
They said they were working on a mac application but it does work on iPhone. I recommend reaching out to Animaze directly to see if they have made any progress on the Mac application.

Does this happen even after you click "Enable Virtual Camera" in Animaze? It is a button that is usually somewhere on the bottom of the screen, usually over your avatar in Animaze. When it is selected a secondary bar shows up that has a counter counting up in minutes indicating the virtual camera is capturing you avatar. If that button is not selected the virtual camera is not actually on or capturing anything so OBS won't show your avatar only the starter Animaze screen. These buttons will not show up in OBS, they only show in Animaze but you can drag them anywhere you would like in the Animaze Avatar screen.

I downloaded steam and it didn't let me even sign up it just said "name and Pw" and I don't have one? It was rated 2.8* I uninstalled it

Glad it helped you out. The lip sync was really hard to get right for me, I am also picky about it and won’t stop working on something until I am either completely burnt out or think it’s good. I hope you can get it working to your liking!
I do find for videos that recording my audio in OBS and Audacity at the same time can help me sync up clips in editing software after. I just delete the audio that sounds worse and keep the good audio. Only issue with that is when OBS acts up and you don’t notice the audio sync can get messed up.
For streaming it was a mix of Animaze software itself and OBS latency on my mic in OBS software.
Syncing lip movement is trial and error though. 😅

Hi can we use this app with voice mode.
Yes you should be able too, just sync your voice using Voice Mod as the audio out source like you would any mic in OBS or in video editing software.

They said they were working on a mac application but it does work on iPhone. I recommend reaching out to Animaze directly to see if they have made any progress on the Mac application.

Heyy would you be able to help me out? … It won’t go through to OBS for me all I see when I try is the animaze by facerig virtual camera screen when I try to get my avatar to appear on OBS
Does this happen even after you click "Enable Virtual Camera" in Animaze? It is a button that is usually somewhere on the bottom of the screen, usually over your avatar in Animaze. When it is selected a secondary bar shows up that has a counter counting up in minutes indicating the virtual camera is capturing you avatar. If that button is not selected the virtual camera is not actually on or capturing anything so OBS won't show your avatar only the starter Animaze screen.
These buttons will not show up in OBS, they only show in Animaze but you can drag them anywhere you would like in the Animaze Avatar screen.
