- The Stack Audio AUVA 70 speaker isolators have great impact on the sound quality. As you might have seen I have added them to my setup 1. But at around € 1000 for a set of eight, it might not fit everyones budget. But now there is the AUVA 50 at almost half the price.

Through this channel I would like to thank Stack Audio (if allowed) for the excellent service after dealing with imports and customs. And of course for their beautiful product.
I second that
Thank you for these great videos.
👍🏼
Thank you Hans. Yet another one of your incredibly informative videos. Your one of a kind, in a good way.
I appreciate that!
I just received my auva 50's today and all the things you said are through.
It's really amazing what these do with the sound .
I know😀
Thank you sir. Interesting product in an interesting category. First we started with spikes, then springy feet, now a new approach. Based on your reviews, perhaps the most successful strategy.
absolutely
Hi Hans. Good and informative video as usual. You have inspired me with Auva 70 review, so I have bought Auva 50 just a week ago, put them on my solid oak speaker stands for my Dynaudio C1 speakers. Replaced already good Isoacoustics Gaias as you did. My findings are exactly the same as yours. As if everything was cleared, all frequencies. Bass is less boomy, even mids are tighter. Great product! Best description of overall effect of Auvas I have is: imagine as if you upgraded your DAC to higher level. Now I am thinking of upgrading to Auva 70:-)
thanks for sharing.
Thanks Hans for the review.
Regarding stand-mount speakers, did you try the isolators between speaker and stand?
Also, in your test, how was the speaker attached to the stand?
I screwed the into the stands, replacing the spikes. And the speakers were just placed on top. The speakers I used had no fixings for spikes themselves.
Great video! I have become curious, I would like to see a video of your listening-rooms. I have a suspicion they look neat and pretty 🤩🧐
Thanks
Hello Hans, Great review !, I just purchased the EQ Isolators ( 3 for my LampizatOr Baltic 4 and another set of 3 for my Amp or Preamp ), and was wondering, Having the PMC Twenty5 26 speaker's with GAIA III, do you think the delta with AUVA 50 is worth the money or the 70 at double the asking price ? thank you , All the best & blessings
They are both worth the money. Whether you want one over the other depends on how critical you are and your perception of the value of money.
Thanks for the reviews on isolators, any chance you will try or review Ansuz products?
Probably not
Very good review. Once I get used to my new speakers I will also try out some Auva 70's. I noticed that you don't use the Grimm MU1 as a Roon Core. Isn't the MU1 better as a Core than the Intel NUC (despite i3 instead of i7 processor)? Btw, looking forward to your review about the MU2.
I use the Intel NUC since I have a very large collection. Above approx 4000 albums the internal NUC is a bit slow. There is no sound difference.
Hi Hans. Thank you for your interesting and helpful videos. We learn a lot. I’m currently using Gaia III with my Proac D20R speakers driven by my Naim gear. What could be a good upgrade Auva 50 or 70?
I have no experience with your speakers. But under the equally priced Audio Physic Scorpios the AUVA 70's are great.
Dear Hans,
What is your prediction as to whether it will do any good on my Audio Note speakers?
(which are deliberately designed so that the cabinet vibrates slightly with them..)
I have harbeths and got a noticeable improvement with moon gel pads.
I have no experience with the AN speakers but I would be surprised if they wouldn't improve the sound quality. But, hey, you can return them if you don't like them.
I know, but this is in a completely different league.
Is this company present at the DAE in Veldhoven or the Iear audioshow in Tilburg?? Maybe i will try them for my Dynaudio Contours due to your enthousiastic review!
I don't think so. But you can order them and return them if you don't like them.
Hello Sir
As usual benchmark review, thank you! I was wondering if you could give advice how to test the Alva myself if I would buy the 50 and the 70 (for me it’s obvious that I would have to test both for making a good decision and then send back whatever I don’t want to keep). I have a wonderful pair of Fink Team KIM loudspeakers running with a NAD M33 which cost so much that the Alva almost don’t matter anymore 😉. But installing the original spikes and the Alva fourth and back will take every time let’s say 15-20 minutes. So to what shall I pay attention and how can I “memorise” that when trying to compare? I’m just an enthusiast but no experienced expert at all.
Install a set of Auva 70's, listen to them for a week. Then replace them with the Auva 50's and listen again. If you hear a clear difference, buy the 70's. If not, replace the 50's for the original feet. If you hear a difference, but the 50's if not, send both the 50's and the 70's back.
Excellent, thanks very much!
Maybe its good to use the Auva's under the Rel too
I think I have done enough Stack audio for now😁
Think I'll be staying with Blu Tac. Can you measure the difference in vibration on the floor I wonder?
Why? The audible difference is immense.
@@TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel Sounds like the designers of speakers and stands have been lacking if such an immense improvement can be heard, I had no idea. However, with my gear I'll have to stick to Blu Tac, or I'll have doubled the cost of my system😂
So next the Alva 100’s? 🙏🏼
I think I have done enough Stack audio for now😁
Have you compared these to IsoAcoustics Gaia?
I prefer these. Although the Gaia's are not bad either.
My speakers came with beautiful spikes, which I recently replaced with GAIA II on Hans recommendation and I’m happy.
@@stefdriverworth the investment?
@@Vsread21 yes. They can be bought and sold frequently on the used market and they hold their value, so nothing to lose.
@hans, how do these compare to the Townshend Podiums you reviewed (that your wife rebuked)?
Ik prefer the AUVA 70's over the Podiums.
Aussie Audiophile said the same thing.
Hi, 1K euros por 8 is not has much and i know it improves the sound. For my system with Wilson speakers Alexia 2 they ask more than 5K euros (Europe) for a set of 8… But a good up-grade.
Well, I think for the Alexia's you might rather take the AUVA 100's. but these still are more attractively priced than the 5K you mentioned.
If these are so fantastic, why do think speaker manufacturers either don't recommend them or even include them with their products?
I don’t know
This question could also apply to manufacturers of other components.
I’m against the idea of including such accessories as it means the consumer is effectively forced to use them. Of course, there is the option of using an alternate product but having already paid for the included accessory, that would mean a further outlay.
Also, Hi-Fi is largely subjective so people may prefer the sound when using an alternative product rather than the accessory supplied with the speakers or electronics.
Firstly, don't judge if you haven't heard them. Second: adding provisions like these add to the sales price. It now is to the customer to add them or not. Third: some manufacturers do add speaker isolators on their top end models where the addition only give a relative small increase in slash price. Fourth: Others might have brilliant ideas that manufactures haven't come up with, like in this case.
Hi Hans, are you replying again to my earlier question, for which you already said 'you don't know' as an answer. I've been an avid follower of your channel from the 2000 euro max days to todays output. I do find a few contradictions in some of your reviews, for example you will always decide not to comment on situations where you have no experience, but in this review you say the cost of these isolators gives an improvement which cannot be matched by equal spending on electronics. How can you make such an assessment? I also note that your review is very prominent on the stack audio website very quickly calling it a glowing review
