I was using this technique 65 years ago in my first attendance at the USN School of Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Indian Head, MD Seems like it was many years ago. Hmm, I guess it was 🤪 I retired out of EOD in 1978 with all my fingers and toes and most of my gray matter 😋

Стекло на шлеме обязательно нужно опустить. Вдруг взорвётся.

I think it's supposed to fall off like that so that the fuse(?) can rotate when they pull the other strap.

Hi there I'm just a humble master badge wearing EOD Tech. Yeah so the deployment of this method is textbook for removal of an armed fuze called 'tape and line' for its simplicity and less invasive method while being remote when jarring action is taken to safely remove the fuze.
This is not fixing a clogged toilet, though I'm sure you do that job just fine so let's leave professionals alone while they handle big boy work.

As one of the so called big boys(level 3 EOD), the wrench is on backwards. This was a practice removal of an inert fuze that was hand tightened when installed . In the real world the teeth would not bite and the fuse would not yield
