Just started my collection with the arrma 6s typhoon tlr and LOVE it. My tlr is super fast and extremely durable. Love it on my local clay track. This will definitely be my next purchase. Love the speed, look, reinforced body. Will go gunmetal gray as well.
These guys never do a full speed test. They’re given the optional gearing and just never give us what we want. Oh well, there is always JayTee RC who never lets us down.

Tempted to get one but still not sure if its worth it since i still have my big rock that i upgraded all the parts that broke including the gears. Still fast as hell. What i like about the 6s br is the size. Complete different experience driving bigger scale rcs compared to smaller ones. But for 800 bucks? Might as well just buy me a infraction and a typhoon.

Holy shit. I didn’t even know about this. I have 2 1/10 Big Rocks, and my kid and I kinda wind down at winter time and don’t drive much. Now the weather is breaking and it’s time to blast again. I guess now I have to buy this 6s version… lol.

An outcast is 1000 so this being 700 fits the price point by size, it’s pay to play sadly, but if you stick in the 1/10 scale they are affordable, you just can’t rock the big ones.
Check out Earl Moreheads video's and DO RC and others, there is an issue with the Firma 150 V2 esc where at 3/4 throttle the brake, or a drag bake comes on like you experienced. Arrma Horizen Hobby is aware of this and consumers to, many are sending there cars back for repair or refund. The simple fix is to replace the ESC with a Hobbywing Max6 esc.
It has more in common with a Kraton than it does a Big Rock...it has nothing in common with it other than body optics lol. It's a kraton xl or fireteam with kraton hubs depending on how you look at it.
Personally I don't find these "speed runs" particularly useful. For what this thing costs $699 I am more interested in how durable it is and what its like in full send mode. At this price point it is closer to the Sledge in features but the Sledge is a truggy.
Speed runs are useful for how much tire ballooning and high speed stability. Both important if you actually send your stuff. It's a Fireteam dude. That's your basis for durability.

The Big Rock looks amazing, and the size is impressive (that's what she said to me, when discussing the size of the big rock, "she" being Mae West) But i was less excited (that's what she said, when discussing the size of.....never mind) about the price being as much as the EXB Kraton, with nearly none of the EXB features. And the SLT3 on a $700 truck ? Disgusting! I'd rather knit a sweater out of seaweed with my tongue than put that poopy TX on a $700 big beef truck like the Big Rock. That's like serving Cheetos on a golden plate with a diamond fork. Look, nothing wrong with Cheeze-toes, they are endorsed by a famous slim cheetah, but that gold plate and diamond fork were made for better fare than damn cheese-toes, right? Plus, i would not eat Cheese-toes with a fork, I'd use a spoon. I think we can all agree on that. Only a monster would use a fork to eat Cheetozzzz. So, yeah, aside from getting Cheese-toes crumbs on the transmitter, i wouldn't touch a $700 truck with a peasant grade TX like the SLT3, unless i was trying to be ironic, or it was bizarro world or something. The $700 Kraton EXB has the DX3, with AVC and the best part: the battery lights. How does Arrma expect people to buy their overpriced Spektrum Smart Batteries, when they won't give us a Tx with battery indicator lights ? That's the biggest reason to use those batteries, but then Arrma doesn't use the Tx with those features, so why is your Big Rock purchaser gonna buy your stinky Spektrum batteries if they can't use that feature? And then removing the balance lead in the Gen 2 Spektrum batteries: congrats, Arrma, that move right there ensured I'm never buying into the Smart Battery ecosystem. Forcing me to buy a $210 Smart charger, because the two cheaper smart chargers have TERRIBLE reviews, the units not lasting a full year for MANY people. Y'all just shot yourself in the foot with removing the balance lead, making those batteries useless to 85% of customers by nixing the balance lead. SMH... Yeah, i know bigger is better (that's what i hear anyway, when discussing fish tanks) but geez, Arrma, put in a couple EXB parts, because for that price, I'd at least hope for an EXB toothbrush or swim cap or EXB cat protectors or something. Calling the bumper "EXB ready" just means you designed some of the truck to be compatible with the similarly priced EXB parts, but you didn't feel like including them. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to find some EXB socks and earmuffs to put on my EXB ears. Well, I'll put the socks on my hands, because I'm doing a puppet show later, at the comedy club. I got jokes! I never said they were funny though.

If you did the fastest speeds right off the bat you get a higher speed rating because of a fresh battery
Plus the cost of broken ESC fix. It doesn’t work from factory
