I bought this a couple of months ago.. and let me tell everybody.. it's worth every penny i love this thing! I haven't had a problem with any of the servos, the lights look great and the body clips in very nice, not as nice as the other guy but it works just fine. I got the red version and the paint is awesome.. worth every bit of 250 bucks! If you want to get into crawling this is a fantastic choice to go with without breaking the bank

I have one or these, and would like to add to your review. It takes the traxxas parts, I ordered brass diff covers, and some other parts that were aftermarket for the trx4, they bolted right to this truck.
Just curious could you try tossing a traxxas part on it, wondering if it’s the same car with a couple differences but directly from a manufacturer but without Branding slapped on it

In the early days, I owned a brushed quadcopter from them. Every dozen flights ir so, a motor would burn out...had to buy more motors often and cost me a ton. I eventually bought cheaper drones like the Dromida Vista after watching your videos.
Because T is a private company they don't fall under the 1st. Freedom of speech just means that the government can't punish you for things you say in public. It has nothing to do with private companies.
You can also spend the extra money on upgrades to like a crawler motor transfer set up and shocks wheels tires etc and be better and still less money than the unnamed one which you would probably have to upgrade some of their junk parts on top of the higher price all for a smash bash backwoods having fun trail rc.
This need a "long term report"!Thats the best bargain start in too the RC Scale Crawler hobby but i think it need a bit more carefully driven than the "Original RC".

So far just hear say claiming it might fit "most" Traxxas parts but no actual confirmation or links to spare parts. So as I see it, once it breaks (& its an RC car, something WILL break if you actually drive it & dont shelf it with the rest of your dozens of free review units) its a $250 paperweight unless you can fabricate parts yourself.

There's a reason why most brick and mortar hobby shops stopped selling the "T" brand in store.... and that reason is corporate GREED. They've shut down third party accessory companies, which was a really dumb move on their part. I would never support them after that. Those types of spin offs made the hobby really fun, but they sucked all the fun out by using their weight to crush those folks.
That is one website that we do Not Recommend! Too many of our viewers have either never gotten the item they ordered at all, or it was a broken returned item, or a totally different item altogether! We wish you good luck and highly recommend that you avoid that website in the future 🙏❤️💯⚓️
With all the hundreds of items I’ve ordered from AE, I’ve only ever had issues with the local shipping companies losing things in the states, never with the sellers. 5 of those items were RC vehicles, all work perfectly.

I have my trx4 sport since 3 or 4years and only servo horn broke. So all stock.i was thinking back then to buy an RGT or redcat but better i got what i got. Still tho yours looks great
Have you ever heard of a company telling someone they literally can’t even say their name unless their product is in a video? All we said in the past was that a certain vehicle looked a lot like “T” but that “T” was actually better. They attacked our channel with lawyers for that!! Crazy! 😬💯⚓️

Love your all's channel, and this truck looks great as a basher, but you never showed it doing any crawling, didn't talk about how soft its wheels were, or how stiff the shocks were. This was a great basher review. But you need to do a crawler review on it now. Would also be great if you could find out how compatible its parts are with the name brand. if they can be swapped with aftermarket parts for that brand, this is a diamond.
For $230 with our coupon code, it’s definitely a diamond already! 👍😁 But I hear ya. We don’t really have the best crawling spots beyond where we are already driving, but this is how we like to drive our crawlers right now anyways. The tires are pretty soft, but obviously not as good as Prolines or something. Yes, many of the parts are interchangeable with other brands, but that’s the beauty of crawlers! We rarely ever break any parts 😎💯 Hope this helps! ⚓️
Greg over on rcdriver channel did an in depth video on this "brand" a few weeks ago. His assessment is that while this is a good value for someone wanting to get into crawling, it is in no way "blowing Traxxas out of the water". To me hobby grade means replacement parts readily available, this truck will not have any support, its just a copy. And I do personally believe Traxxas is way overpriced, but their builds, and support are extremely good.
Cool looking rig! The best part is that there is another place to get one for about £170! I've bought 2 blue and yellow! They look the part and the price paid its no match to the quality!

The Chinese communists infringement on American patents is certainly nothing new. How this rc beats a Traxxas TRX-4 21 Bronco, beyond price, is something you're going to have to prove, now that you've made that statement! Good Luck with that! :) You can dislike or hate Traxxas as much as you like, but they do have the right to protect their interests as they see fit, as we all do. Patent infringement and infringement on intellectual property is a very real and very frustrating problem for a lot of American manufactures. Perhaps they don't all handle it the way we think that WE would or should, but WE haven't walked a mile in their shoes... in the majority of comments and complaints, I would guess. I own and use a lot of Traxxas products and others as well. I don't see where one is much, if any, better than the other when you get right down to bras tacks. You pay the money and you get a decent product. At least, that is my experience with Traxxas, Axial and Vanquish. They all have their problems. But my Traxxas RCs hold up very well in comparison to the others mentioned. I fail to see any real differences in that aspect, nor any in performance. The RC market has more than enough affordable crawlers available to people without the Chinese infringing on American companies patents, to make money in an American market in my opinion. To each his own, just my 2 cents...

@@wigzzborz6759 Taiwan, completely different country. Stuff manufactured in Taiwan is know to have MUCH better quality compared to China. To my knowledge everything else (besides manufacturing) is handled by the US side of Traxxas. Please do your research before you blabber off random stuff with so much confidence.
Where are the replacement parts? I dont want "im sure the Traxxas parts will fit". You are not the manufacturer, you are not sure unless you own the RC & have actually tried on Traxxas parts yourself.
There is a guy in England named Phil Tomley, he has a channel called Tomley RC and he did a revue on this copy. This truck is actually called a Beluga. Like the whales. But yeah I doubt this copycat is going to bea around for much longer. I bet Traxxas has already started litigation action. And that means there won't be any parts back up.

I've been in and out of RC for over thirty years and worked in hobby shops etc. That's why I do not directly support Traxxas personally and have not owned one of their products for quite some time. That said, I generally agree you get what you pay for and parts are readily available in the USA. I have to disagree on the warranty and support etc. Having worked in the industry as part of hobby shops I can say some pretty bad things about how Traxxas is willing to handle customer service. I asked the above questions for those who don't like supporting them or those who don't have good access to the brand parts. @CalvinRC
Availability? Im gonna guess poor. He said it himself, he doesnt expect it to survive long on the market. Thats the big difference between this & a Traxxas.
@@sofloflow my friend is having problems with his gen 8 crawler all parts must be special ordered by owner of lhs at 2 shops. It pays to buy a name brand. I have bashed and crawled my trx4 over 300 hours. Very few broken parts. It does not like to be submersed. Smoked esc and motor and cooked the servo board. Fixed it cheap and drive in all conditions .i just dont take it sailing in creeks.
No locking & unlocking diff? Can you shift the transmission on the fly? Does it have portals? But the main difference, is something you mentioned. This wont be alive for very long. That right there, is a huge issue. Replacement & aftermarket part support. The TRX4 has over 5 yrs under its belt, still one of the strongest sellers & one of if not the most supported RC crawlers out there both by its OEM & the aftermarket.
I appreciate it being a knockoff brand, but I would find it easier to buy this one over the name brand one as a financial choice. Usually the Asian variant is easier for me to pay for anyways, lol. Thanks for the review.
I would choose this any day over a Traxxas. I dont plan on ever buying from them because of their absurdity (besides the fact that they cost so much to buy here in New Zealand)

Years ago, we did a video of an RC that resembled “T” and we said that in the video. That’s all we said. We went on to say that “T” was a better company obviously, and that was about it! They sent lawyers after us, threatening to shut down our channel because of the video we made. After a very stressful week, TH-cam told us we did nothing wrong and was simply freedom of speech. “T” spends more time and money in court than they do innovating new RCs! Horrible company with the Worst morals ever. We will not support a company that threatens freedom of speech! 💯🇺🇸❤️⚓️

I love RC’s in general so I don’t hate on any as we know some are better than others and some are overpriced and over rated. I have lots of traxxas rc’s and lots of other brands too. I'm sure it's easy to make stuff cheap when you aren't paying for R&D, graphic design, marketing, customer service, patents, or distribution to name a few. Not to mention cheaper Aliexpress and Banggood clones don't have to pay Ford for licensing (which I'm sure Ford wouldn't be too happy about).
I’m not saying I’m sticking up for tr****s, but…it’s cheap companies like this that’ll keep ppl away from supporting local hobby shops and keeping them in business, and in turn they will stock parts for other said brand unlike this company. And you know as well as anyone else, you don’t have to use proprietary batteries or their other sold products to run them.
Hobby shops who may not meet the Criteria a shop needs to have to sell the Traxxas brand , could offer these and do very well with them. Parts support is there for these, if one such shop chose to order them in larger quantities. Not every one can shell out $500-$600 for an Rc.

Oh side note if you remove the jumper pin for reverse forward brake - it will give you a drag brake

We have 2 trx4 2021 broncos. Use them all the time. Bought 1 used. Looks almost like an exact copy. No font or rear lockers? We use those a good bit.
Not portals either. & worst of all, no aftermarket support or replacement parts being sold. If it breaks, you got yourself a $250 paperweight.

The receiver in mine has been conformal coated from the factory. Had mine moist but not submerged with zero issues.
Love your all's channel, and this truck looks great as a basher, but you never showed it doing any crawling, didn't talk about how soft its wheels were, or how stiff the shocks were. This was a great basher review. But you need to do a crawler review on it now. Would also be great if you could find out how compatible its parts are with the name brand. if they can be swapped with aftermarket parts for that brand, this is a diamond.

We don’t really have the best crawling spots beyond where we are already driving, but this is how we like to drive our crawlers right now anyways. The tires are pretty soft, but obviously not as good as Prolines or something. Yes, many of the parts are interchangeable with other brands, but that’s the beauty of crawlers! We rarely ever break any parts 😎💯 Hope this helps! ⚓️
Greg over on rcdriver channel did an in depth video on this "brand" a few weeks ago. His assessment is that while this is a good value for someone wanting to get into crawling, it is in no way "blowing Traxxas out of the water". To me hobby grade means replacement parts readily available, this truck will not have any support, its just a copy. And I do personally believe Traxxas is way overpriced, but their builds, and support are extremely good.

Ok I hope get this and can help .... I went to the site you posted and got a jeep wrangler from them but the gears broke and I can't find them.went to bang good ordered the rock cruiser v2 ...the gears for the front axle are 21 tooth and the rear are 20 so the front broke ...what can I do?

The Chinese communists infringement on American patents is certainly nothing new. How this rc beats a Traxxas TRX-4 21 Bronco, beyond price, is something you're going to have to prove, now that you've made that statement! Good Luck with that! :)
You can dislike or hate Traxxas as much as you like, but they do have the right to protect their interests as they see fit, as we all do. Patent infringement and infringement on intellectual property is a very real and very frustrating problem for a lot of American manufactures. Perhaps they don't all handle it the way we think that WE would or should, but WE haven't walked a mile in their shoes... in the majority of comments and complaints, I would guess.
I own and use a lot of Traxxas products and others as well. I don't see where one is much, if any, better than the other when you get right down to bras tacks. You pay the money and you get a decent product. At least, that is my experience with Traxxas, Axial and Vanquish. They all have their problems. But my Traxxas RCs hold up very well in comparison to the others mentioned. I fail to see any real differences in that aspect, nor any in performance.
The RC market has more than enough affordable crawlers available to people without the Chinese infringing on American companies patents, to make money in an American market in my opinion. To each his own, just my 2 cents...

This doesnt have lockers, doesnt have portal axles & worst of all doesnt have any parts availability. Once something breaks, its a $250 paperweight.
@@wigzzborz6759 Taiwan, completely different country. Stuff manufactured in Taiwan is know to have MUCH better quality compared to China. To my knowledge everything else (besides manufacturing) is handled by the US side of Traxxas.

But yeah I doubt this copycat is going to bea around for much longer. I bet Traxxas has already started litigation action. And that means there won't be any parts back up.

I've been in and out of RC for over thirty years and worked in hobby shops etc. That's why I do not directly support Traxxas personally and have not owned one of their products for quite some time. That said, I generally agree you get what you pay for and parts are readily available in the USA. I have to disagree on the warranty and support etc. Having worked in the industry as part of hobby shops I can say some pretty bad things about how Traxxas is willing to handle customer service. I asked the above questions for those who don't like supporting them or those who don't have good access to the brand parts. @CalvinRC

@@sofloflow my friend is having problems with his gen 8 crawler all parts must be special ordered by owner of lhs at 2 shops. It pays to buy a name brand. I have bashed and crawled my trx4 over 300 hours. Very few broken parts. It does not like to be submersed. Smoked esc and motor and cooked the servo board. Fixed it cheap and drive in all conditions .i just dont take it sailing in creeks.

But the main difference, is something you mentioned. This wont be alive for very long. That right there, is a huge issue. Replacement & aftermarket part support. The TRX4 has over 5 yrs under its belt, still one of the strongest sellers & one of if not the most supported RC crawlers out there both by its OEM & the aftermarket.

Years ago, we did a video of an RC that resembled “T” and we said that in the video. That’s all we said. We went on to say that “T” was a better company obviously, and that was about it! They sent lawyers after us, threatening to shut down our channel because of the video we made. After a very stressful week, TH-cam told us we did nothing wrong and was simply freedom of speech. “T” spends more time and money in court than they do innovating new RCs! Horrible company with the Worst morals ever. We will not support a company that threatens freedom of speech! 💯🇺🇸❤️⚓️

I'm sure it's easy to make stuff cheap when you aren't paying for R&D, graphic design, marketing, customer service, patents, or distribution to name a few. Not to mention cheaper Aliexpress and Banggood clones don't have to pay Ford for licensing (which I'm sure Ford wouldn't be too happy about).
I’m not saying I’m sticking up for tr****s, but…it’s cheap companies like this that’ll keep ppl away from supporting local hobby shops and keeping them in business, and in turn they will stock parts for other said brand unlike this company. And you know as well as anyone else, you don’t have to use proprietary batteries or their other sold products to run them.
Hobby shops who may not meet the Criteria a shop needs to have to sell the Traxxas brand , could offer these and do very well with them. Parts support is there for these, if one such shop chose to order them in larger quantities. Not every one can shell out $500-$600 for an Rc.
