    Description
The Modern Game is a slender bird with long legs, an upright posture, and a short back. It has a fine tail and hard feathering. There are two main variations: birds with ochre legs and red eyes and those with black legs and eyes. There are multiple color variations. The most common colors include black-red, red-brown, and birchen. The Modern Game may have red or purplish facial skin, wattles, and a single comb.
Uses: Despite being classified as a game breed, the Modern Game was not bred for cockfighting. It is an ornamental bird bred for exhibition purposes. They were developed to look like prime fighting birds, but the gamebird appearance is purely aesthetic.
Behavior and temperament: Modern Game chickens are friendly and curious by nature. They can be quite active and alert. Overall, they are easily tamed and make great pets.
