    Always wonderful content, educational.
I’m very new to life and…
I’m old and very new to chickens, (something was amiss there)… I’ve discovered something I never would have guessed, if my eight Rhode Island Reds never laid a single egg, I’d enjoy them, love them no less.
    I’m so surprised by this… 😊
Having raised them from a day or two old, they are just beginning to lay eggs…
If you don’t mind me saying, life has been a little stressful of late, maybe the last dozen, baker’s dozen years, and these ladies bring joy, peace, to this restless soul.
Four dogs, eight chickens, (unless you work for the county here then I swear I only have seven)… ‘chicken math’, I get it. Oh, it’d be wonderful to have more and different varieties.
I sure appreciate your sharing, thank you!

0:47 Dude, Holland is a state/province in the Netherlands. The Netherlands didn't use dutch sailors to import chickens from Holland. American sailors importing US Chickens from New York. Would be the equivalent statement for the US. See how completely ridiculous that sounds?

The Netherlands also go by the 7 provinces/Ziven Provinzen or something. Read more than one source for your history spiels to try and not make the same mistake.
