I know what my mother has done to me in the ways that we’re all wrong and hurtful of me growing up, but what I can say is thease songs she shared with me… it makes me cry knowing the life she had growing up and the pain she held.. I’m so glad to know now how much we were so the same but so different. This song reaches another reality of me and my mother in my heart it brings me joy and sadness, but in my mind it brings trauma I had with her. I’m just glad I had a mom.
