And your little one is precious! Thank you for showing how you put together and use your planner and even a bit on how you mash up AO and AM. I like your idea of printing the modified AO/AM schedules and other copy and pasted composer/artist/song lists right in the back of your planner so that they are handy.
I looked at but didn’t find AM was a good fit for us; instead I have been using AO and modifying it as needed as well for my own Catholic family (mostly on the religion/bible part like you; as well as finding more Catholic-friendly history texts). I am also a fan of Traditional Catholic Living for the traditional Catholic hymn study and substituted her Y1 list in for the AO hymn list this past year (though we did follow the AO rotation in the past with a few mods to mix in some Catholic hymns to match the liturgical calendar before I found TCL which does that naturally). The parents who put together and share the AO, AM, and TCL stuff for free are amazing in my eyes, as well as those like you who take the time to share these wonderful tips and videos. Thank you!

We combine Mater Amabilis and Ambleside Online for my year 2 and year 4 students. I've been looking for a good planner. Hopefully this one will finally be the one I'll love. I love how you've gone through explaining your weekly schedule. We always do saints on Mondays because I find it easier to start the week with a saint than catechism.

What do you do for term assessment?
I’m following the Ambleside format for exams at the end of every term, and just changing questions to reflect and books I’ve swapped out!
