- This an 40min Interview of Agnetha Fältskog conducted by Lasse Bengtsson.
The topics are her Album 'My Colouring Book', ABBA, Frida, her life and the media.

Agnetha is one of those people that for some reason are so likeable! I mean she is so charming and she does not need to do anything to be charming...just the way she talks, the way she laughs, etc. Love her personality and love the fact that even being a memeber of one of the biggest bands of all time, she still so nice and sweet, and seh always like that! I can just say that even that I don't know her she is a great person, u can just see her soul throu her amazing eyes

I relate to her very much - she says she's anxious and nervous a lot, and I don't think people realise what a terrible cross to bear that is. It's also made worse, because it's an afflication no-one can see. I love her - I think she comes across as a beautiful person, inside and out. I wish she could find more confidence in herself. She's given so much to the world, it's terrible that she should feel so insecure. She doesn't need to justify herself, she's great! Agnetha = beautiful :)
Still, a beautiful woman... intelligent and very captivating to listen to, whether singing or giving an in-depth interview. I love her laugh... like a song in itself!
She is still a beauty. She was 54 when this was made and she looks about 40. One word describes her: WOW!

She is so full of self-doubt, which is extraordinary for someone who was the fantasy woman of half the adult males on this planet. However cynical one might try to be, it's difficult to be other than well-disposed towards her. Thank you for the music, Agnetha.
Agnetha is so lovely & charming, she's just herself, very normal and down to earth with no phonyness. I don't think it has ever been easy for her to be in the public eye, especially as much as she was during the Abba years, she basically just loves to sing, but without all the stress of media attention. I can just imagine how stressful that would have been for anyone. I hope we get to enjoy more of her beautiful voice though.
In this day and age, this kind of self-awareness from a celebrity is quite refreshing. Besides being beautiful, she's figured out (I think) how the world around her works, that's impressive.
What a sweet soul. She's still beautiful after all of these years. I'm a 40 year old man and would be proud to be with someone so beautiful (I am very proud to be with my 46 year old wife ;-).
I know how she feels regarding children and animals. I can't take sad stories with them as subjects.
I hope she continues to find the peace that she seeks in life. I understand the fascination with her that the public has, it's just too bad that celebrity gets taken so far. God bless Agnetha...

Very nice person, also judgemental to herself, sense lots of fears. The energy and blending of her voice with Frida's is angelic. Never the solo, hear me sing well, always contributing to the feel of the songs. "nothing or no one can harm you unless you choose to allow it" (TheWonders) came to my mind, easier said than done.
I like her as a person and i like her voice. My favorite song of her is When you really love someone. My favorite song from Abba is The winner takes it all (I think, Abba has a lot of songs). Anyway I really like this women more than I like artist in the industry today. I would pic to see Agnetha live instead of Rihanna for an example. I feel like this women is more interesting and no diva and tbh she's hell of a pro.
She is a very beautiful lady who is shy and such a sweet lady.
Even after all these years, she is the epitome of Scandinavian beauty and sexiness!.

I am 35 and I have had a love affair with ABBA and Agnetha since I was 4 years old. ABBAs music is the best and Agnetha is the most beautiful women I have ever seen. My heart goes out to you Agnetha and I cant help but feel your sadness when I watch this interview. God bless you Agnetha your voice will always touch me. I have always thought that Frida loved you like a sister and its so evident when you see her hugging you in so many of the old ABBA pictures. When you see her give her a big hug x

she seems a lovely lady not affected by money and fame..i think she was to nice to survive the media circus connected with the music industry..agnetha live your own life and pay no attention to other peoples opinion ,you have done ok up to now..god bless you
@mygirlrurh I have to agree. She was promoting her album. I don't know the interviewers, but what an ass. Such difficult and leading questions for anyone. I would say badgering from the 2 of 4 interviews I have seen thus far. She made a beautiful album and leave it at that. We are lucky she recorded it at all and that is her gift to us. I feel ashamed my curiousity of this amazing talent could cause her anxiety and with what she's been through, she doesn't owe any explaiations to me or anyone.

When she smiles she looks exactly the way she looked in her twenties. She sounds like she has been living with anxiety disorder for a long time.

I think the only perceived notion we have of her is that she's done an amazing job.
I think the interviewer was too harsh with her. His questions were leading. He should have focused on her strong points, not on her social awkwardness

When he explains that she is anxious and that she is very sensitive to noise, it almost sounds like she has PTSD. But why does he keep asking her about these things? Why doesn't he ask about her music, her new record etc.?
I found myself very in tune to this interview and it affected me emotionally. I'm soo very much like her it's not funny. everything she said I was like 'omg!'. Guess that's why she's my role model as I relate to her a lot
It's funny when he asks her what she worries
about and she says, "Allt." Then she laughs and says, "Nej, inte allt."
I sympathize with her reluctance to do
interviews. What a pain in the neck it must
be to have someone asking you all these questions about how you feel and what you worry about while you have lights and cameras pointing at you. You say something and then have to try to make sure it doesn't get misinterpreted. No wonder it wears her out.

Hmmm, ah. She says "I try to keep it very quiet on me". I should maybe mention that she did an interview for German TV in which she DID NOT WANT TO BE FACE-FILMED. The camera guy was instructed to only film her from a distance. Yet the interview was wonderful. Could be this interview is here somewhere too, but no time to search around now.

You put into words so well what I myself was feeling. Yes she is great and she has nothing to apologise for. I love her too. Can we share her just you and me?
I don't like many questions this interviewer has made. He was too persistent and for me inconsiderate, digging too much into her privacy, forcing her to tell him things that are none of his business and of no one at all. I didn't feel well by myself and had the urge to intervene on behalf of Agnetha Fältskog in many occasions, who herself was so kind and lovely, trying to answer all the questions the best way possible. Such an agony! He misused her kindness.

this interviewer annoys me a little bit. all his questions are so consistently personal. very little are they about music or lyrics or details about her career so much as they're constantly about her feelings, her insecurities, her relationships and her personal life. everytime she talks too long about a professional subject, he swings the interview back to personal questions again. I get the feeling that he was probably told to do this, but it feels kinda disrespectful to her and she seems uncomfortable with every personal question asked

I think the real reason for the self doubt and the reluctance for interviews is the stalker situation she had/has. I remember reading about it.

He was a psychopath......Male psycho's try to break strong women, they are attracted to sensitive, kind and beautiful women....She survived the weirdo and is gaining back her personality after it. Psychopath's try to impress people, they are all about ego and hiding their true selves. The more guileless you are the more attractive you will be to a psychopath...Take care girls and if in doubt type in 'psychopath support' on the internet, just to see what you will learn..I wish you women safety.

Very charming et al, but she sounds a bit strange! Why did she need to be interrogated so much just to name a favourite film? She tells us there are no problems going shopping but she still throws in the negative bit about having to watch herself. As someone on here said, I think she's been traumatised. The coach accident, the stalker, the pressure of ABBA. I shouldn't judge her - I haven't lived her life!

I agree that she was affected by her career and the harrassment of the media ... but I seriously doubt that she went into "complete isolation" ... that is a media tale IMO, as for listining to the radio... i must be in isolation too... :D which i am not

This interview is a bit too personal. It's like a psychologist probing and the questions are deliberately leading. Why is this anyone's business. She's a singer. This interview was shocking. No wonder she doesn't do them often.
So you watched an interview that you found too personal and intrusive, claiming 'this is nobody's business' instead of just closing the tab and watching something else?! .... This says more about you than the interviewer who simply did his job.
