At that time she was dating with Bruce Gaitsch, who wrote lyrics for Madonna's album "True blue". And he wrote some songs for Agnetha too. Hence, having an American boyfriend definitely helped her to develop her English.

i think she did fantastic as always, I like the way the speaks so calm all the time. Well the winner takes it all is in deed on of abba's best songs, and its so amazing the way that all 4 of them sing it , and of course the lyrics are just wow!! good

@@ЮрийЛетуновский-о9я Я тоже это заметил. Она в период с Ульвиусом просто расцвела как женщина... Это видно по фотографиям. Мне кажется, что она "приросла" к нему всем своим существом, хотя могу и ошибаться. Но характер у обоих... и производственные моменты совместного шоу бизнеса привели к тому, к чему привели...
Она ещё и волевая. Она до последнего записывала треки.
Я думаю, если бы не активная деятельность Агнеты как вокалистки, то воссоединения АВВА не произошло бы
в 2021 г.

@@ЮрийЛетуновский-о9я Ну, в принципе, это все в инете есть. Но то, что я читал там - серьезные нервные срывы у нее произошли из-за разрыва, хотя может это и неправда. Я не проверял.
А "официальная" причина ухода Ульвеуса (не считая их характеров...) - Агнета из-за ребенка не захотела ехать в недельный концертный тур по Европе, о котором он вел переговоры. Правда это, или нет - я не проверял, не до этого... (я ,реально, не "фанатик" группы и никогда им не был).

Her angelic vocal chords are a gift from god. I say this not as a religious person but a spiritual one. I have thought of her as an angel on earth as a child and always wanted her to be my mother (I still think so today) I agree that it would have been nice to have heard more music from her but I think she just realised that a thriving solo career came with sacrifices she did not enjoy: she hates flying and loves to be with family, so she decided against the career. What a big bold heart! xox

She never rates ABBA live but they were pretty good because both the girls were terrific singers and harmonised beautifully. I wonder if it's just that she didn't want to be out there, because it kept her away from her home and children.
Ding Ting Yes..Bjorn used to say he had to persuade her to go on tour and it got very hard for her to even go to promote their music even. She hated flying. and wanted to stay home with the kids and only record. There is a documentary called " behind the blonde".. I think it's one that says that. There are a few different documentary about Agnetha.
Why did the documentary *The Winner Takes it All* says Agnetha no longer speaks English well??? She speaks great.

I think Agnetha is a bit hard on their performances. They did very well live, really sounded great live too, and some of their concerts were defintatley major successes. I think it has to to with personality too, where they felt comfortable, I don't think either of them really wanted to live their life in public, or enjoyed the attention they got on the stage that much.
I don't know about Frida, but Agneth looks so happy and healthy these days

Why is it that Agnetha´s solo singer didn´t work?
Lau Ra Because it wasn't abba..just not the same magic. plus she was older and didn't have the long blonde hair and innocent look. That was very appealing to so many about Agnetha.

@@boxeolocopunch762 yes, she still looks good here, but we would have to be gullible to not notice all the thousands and thousands of comments about how hog and gorgeous she is in abba and how Frida not as much. I myself may not agree, but a lot of people Agnetha in Abba the most.
