Visually, definitely the Toyotas. But I have some childhood memories of the Mercedes that I unfortunately can't remember...but whenever I see this Mercedes, a childlike joy comes up in me. So I'm going with Mercedes! :)

Not really. When street wannabe racing cars beat prototypes can't be the peak. And these GT1 were slower than older Group C. It was nice but I wouldn't say a peak.

My first of 21 so far, the Nissan R390 in that blue was my favourite..
The best Le mans years. All gt1 and prototypes are great. But for me is the Panoz the coolest car. For 1999 the audi R8C
The porshe 911 gt1 on AMS2 the turbo sound is immaculate. Ty 4 this upload, I love learning the history of this race, this is awesome. 🙏
Yea my gt1 knowledge goes as far as ams2 too. I race the McLaren usually. Gt1 and Group C is a good multi-class race if you have any interest.
This is actually peak LeMans 24 hours.
I enjoyed LMP1 Audi and Porsche battling it out a lot more than what I saw in this video…

The same design inspired the drawing of the Enzo ferrari. Normal both were actually draw by the same designer.
